What a majestic surprise the Majestic Grand...
What a majestic surprise the Majestic Grand turned out to be, New, Modern, clean & Chic hotel situated on soi 2. access to skytrain only 3 to 4 minutes walk. Hotel staff extremely friendly and efficient, welcome drink on arrival, check out time extended at no extra charge, Room clean & decor excellent, décor of lifts and corridors also worth a mention as they were classy and tasteful to. Pool small but good, pool gets sun in the morning which warms up the water nicely for the afternoon, lots of water fountains and Jacuzzi features also. Breakfasts very good, greater choice on floor 7 at dine 7 either inside or around pool area but sometimes busy, for a more relaxed breakfast the restaurant on ground floor also serves breakfast in a more chic and upmarket surrounding, Opposite the hotel is a Lane which leads directly to Soi 4 [NaNa] but this area can be totally avoided by using Soi 2, but beware of the wide boy taxis parked up and waiting for the unsuspecting tourist, if you need a taxi get the hotel door staff to flag one of the many metered taxis down for you. Overall the Majestic grand represents excellent value for money and I will definitely be staying again on my next trip to BKK. I recommend it
