Alright, so the the rooms are smaller than others, big deal! You dont go on holiday to LIVE in a hotel..just eat and sleep and wash there! We found the location for BTS skytrain and bars very convenient, the staff friendly and helpful, the breakfasts are smashing...you name it, its there. Would we go back? Yes.
Nice and modern hotel in a great location, easy access to SkyTrain. Stayed there when I arrived in Bangkok and rebooked at the end of my vacation as well. Good value.
Third time stay in this hotel in 2006 and nothing changes from the moment you step from the taxi to checking out its so well run the staff are excellent and they all seem happy to see you.Its in a quite area but 2 minutes away is Nana if thats what you want or a short walk to the sky train.Breakfast has something for everyone the pool is small but ok value for money this hotel takes some beating.K M Stewart Wallsend Tyne and Wear
The Prices in hotel are very reasonable such as mini bar etc... All staff spoke great English alot better then my Thai

The Majestic is an excellent hotel. My only criticism is that another lift is required- the wait can be annoying, particularly at breakfast time. The Italian restaurant has a superb jazz quintet and excellent food. The hotel service is extremely competent and respectful. The AsiaRooms price makes it a very good deal, but beware of the taxis outside the hotel; they only want to take you to places that suit them, and they don't want to use the meter- better walk up to the main road and use one of the hundreds who will be glad of a job.
Because of the reviews at AsiaRooms we had huge expectations. Many reviews spoke about a 5 star hotel. It is not. An okay 4 stay hotel and that's it. Room size too small and service and cleanliness acceptable for the price paid bu nothing more than that. This hotel can in no way be comparec with e.g. Peninsula - but of course the cost is only a third.
This place was fantastic - Very new, clean, great staff. The pool is a little small for swimming around in but perfect for cooling off. Location is great - a short walk from every type of entertainment. The best I've stayed in for the money.
Hotel is great (newly open last year 2005) and very good located (only 3 min walking from Skytrain. But only default, there are only 2 elevators in this hotel so we have to wait (a little bit too long).
But we will coming back again for our next holiday.
Place was a gem. Great room and very clean. I know it's fairly new but I hope they keep it up. Read other reviews about the air conditioning being loud, think it's subjective..I personally like it strong and cold. Breakfast food selection, staff friendliness, promptness, and courtesy were all good. Only draw back was that after each shower I found a pool of water right below the sink. Hated to use the spare towels but had no choice. Will definitely stay there again if prices don't go up drastically.
