Very nice hotel, excellent rooms, excellent location
Ideal location, excellent, stylish rooms, very friendly staff, fast internet (not free though - 100 baht per day), and most important - absolutely fantastic location! BTS Chong Nonsi at the doorstep, minutes to Silom nightlife area, yet rooms are very quiet. VERY VERY GOOD HOTEL!!! Definitely would recommend it, definitely will stay there again.

Very near BTS
Extremely near BTS Chong Nonsi and have many local food shop included 24hr McDonalds. Good design for room looking. Although the swimming pool is small but it is infinity pool and seldom have this in this budget hotel. The shower can take off but the temperature is very unstable. The sunshine will come into rooms as they use venetian shades rather than a whole valance. There is a construction site to make noise in very early and keep many years.
Location - Very convenient as it is just beside Chong Nonsi BTS station, which is only 2 stations from Siam BTS station. There are some local restaurants and 7-11 nearby.
Room - We stayed in Studio Apartment Room which is spacious. However, the hot water supply in the washroom is quite unstable.
Internet Service - There are no free wi-fi provided in the hotel, but there are 3 desktops in the lobby providing free internet connection.
Hygience - It is not up to standard. The towels provided in the room are old and worn and have stains on them. Besides, mats used on the tables in the restaurant are very dirty.
Swimming pool - A very small swimming pool on the roof. There are only 3 benches for sunbath and most of the spaces of the pool side are occupied by tables and seats for restaurant customers. It is not very comfortable to swim and have sunbath there.
Overall speaking, this hotel is inexpensive and is very convenient which is suitable for travellers who won't stay long in hotel. However, it is not recommended for people who want to use facilities like the swimming pool and the gym room as the environment is not very good.
Nice stay
Very nice location near Skytrain. Nice pool, but too few sunbeds. The hotel should add more space for sunbeds allthough we only used the pool in the evening. Some confusion about room numbers and service at the breakfast. Rooms were made everyday but the quality of the cleaning could be better.
We had a very nice stay and would definately stay at this hotel again. As all Thai people the staff was very kind.
Wasnt worth the money
From the photos in asiarooms, i was given an impression that the hotel was going to be well the money i have paid for. It cost me RM 180 per night and I didnt get for what it's worth.
First the services really need to be improved. They didnt give us bath towels to shower and when i called for the towels, they didnt bring to the room, i had to called 3 times and it took them close to an hour before the towel was brought to us.
Secondly they toilet sucks big time. The entrance was too smal and the door lock was falling apart. The tap in the basin was not working properly too!
For the money i paid for, I would never go back there again.

Never been this good in Bangkok
Booked this small but chic hotel on 3/2/2011 Chinese New Year through AsiaRooms.com.Rooms are unexpected big for this boutique hotel.Breakfast are done well although its the same everyday,staffs are attentive n friendly,whats better than a smiley face greeting to start your day.Location just beside Chong Nonsi BTS which is linkable to all main shopping area.There is MacDonald just beside the hotel and pharmacy if you need undigestive medicine for overdosage of heaty thai food yummy,famous chinese resturant nearby too.Hotel provide day tour or half day tour to various attractions,helpful stuff.If your are going to watch Caberat show,you can book with the hotel instead of buying straight from show counter,you can get cheaper ticket price.Street food below the hotel are delicious,you never get enough of thai street food culture
it was very very nice place to stay at here... just a bit far from the town if taking train to there.. need to change few train only reach it...i love this hotel very much because it clean, nice and is not noisy at the street. i will stay again at this hotel for my nxt bangkok trip..
Lame-Residence Silom
During our recent stay at i-Residence Silom we arrived to find the hotel over-booked despite our reservation. We were sent to another hotel owned by the same people called i-Residence Sathorn for one night. The staff at the Sathorn location were quite friendly and helpful.
The next day we returned to i-Residence Silom and received a room upgrade that was quite nice. However, that is where the niceties end for this miserable bane to all comfort loving travelers. Our room was on the 8th floor, near the 10th floor restaurant that turns into some sort of dining hall for private parties after 5pm. From 5pm until well after midnight there was loud music, karaoke, and drunk people wandering loudly around the hotel. Naturally, the front desk was called. Naturally, the i-Residence staff were again unhelpful.
We had driven to this hotel and left our car there for three nights. After arriving home we noticed a scratch on the front bumper of the car. Thanks again i-Residence for making our city getaway a great experience.
You will see a low rate at a convenient location and be tempted to book a room at i-Residence. Avoid this temptation. I-Residence is run by obnoxious, dim-witted, rude people who seem to have been pulled in off the street and forced begrudgingly into hard labor. Do not stay at this hotel.

Friendly
Hotel in a good position in town close to all amenities. Staff very friendly especially the tour staff had a nice tour 3 teples private transport for just 1200 THB good value
