I'd say this hotel offers excellent value...
I'd say this hotel offers excellent value for the price. It's kinda hard to find in a maze of lanes but that adds to the charm. Great staff, very clean, excellent mattresses, A/C that works, was quiet and adjustable. It was better than I expected, is smack in the middle of a lively and busy neighborhood, yet quiet and no noise to disturb your sleep. Despite the rather flimsy door locks, I felt absolutely safe. Their guests were generally in the 20 - 40 range, back packers, junior executives and savvy international travelers. I can absolutely recommend it as being an excellent value for buck.

i stayed with a friend in the...
i stayed with a friend in the hotel, i found the location was ok but the staff didnt really help us when we asked for advice. i would stay if you want to be near the middle of the action and are a budget traveller not expecting to much then stay here.

Worst experience. Inside a small lane, not access by Taxi to the door-step. Room smelly wth bad air ventilation. The worst, bed without spring, u just sink while u sleep, x move at all. No lift, u have to climb all the way-up. Cleaniness & Security are low, bugs bite. Front-desk lady is rude. Definately a NO to couple or family unless u are a very low low budget travellar. We booked for 4nights but after stay 1 night, we decided to move out & look for another venue although not a single cent of refund can b done. We unable to stand anymore.

Not Impressed. The only good things...
Not Impressed. The only good things were the friendly staff and location. It's a very old building so that even if the floors and bathroom were clean, they certainly didn't look it. The walls gave the impression of an old style institution and could really use a lick of paint. The room was small and dindgey, and the shower/toilet space insufficeint. The sheets and towels, although at some point in their history must have been white, were grey and a mucky shade of brown respectively - one of the towels was so bad I wouldn't even have used it for my dog! There is much better quality accomodation available on this same street for the same price with the same or better facilities.

We lived the hotel 3 days. ...
We lived the hotel 3 days. It is pretty well overall. Location is ok, just in the middle of the Khaosan Road. The price is a little bit higher than the others nearby. I think it is most suitable for the couples and romantics.
