We just stayed for 1 night, but we had a really good night! the beds are really good and your staff is so friendly! we already booked our last night in bangkok with you! so see you in 10 days!
Very mixed feelings about this hotel. ...
Very mixed feelings about this hotel. At first we stayed in a standard double which was rather small. It was VERY basic! The bed was SO uncomfortable, with broken springs it was impossible to have a good nights sleep. The air con was very noisy and the window may as well have been open given the noise from the street which carried on through most of the night. We decided to pay extra to have a deluxe double. Deluxe it is not but it was quite big and definitely quieter. The mattress was far too soft in this room, but definitely an improvement.
My main concerns are that the images of the rooms outside of the hotel and even on the hotels own website look absolutely nothing like the reality of this rather shabby hotel. WARNING: it is very difficult to get your room cleaned! Rooms are only cleaned if you make a request at reception. I made one request in the morning and was promised all day that it would be cleaned. After SEVEN hours of waiting I had to cancel my request as I needed to sleep. The next day I made a request at 10am and the room was not cleaned until 4pm!
However, I found the staff after a few days to be very warm and friendly. The breakfast is adequate but the quality of the food in general is quite good given the very poor quality food found elsewhere on Khoasan Rd.
The location is very good. When we met other travelers who were staying in local hotels/guest houses paying a similar amount per night, it seemed that they had more to complain about than we did.
Expectations in this area of Bangkok can't be very high given the price, but with an open mind and a degree of tolerance of conditions that would be unacceptable in many other places, it is possible to have a reasonably pleasant stay in this hotel.

The service is not bad, but the rooms are absolutely different from the pictures you propose. They are very small and dirty. The walls are damaged and the bathroom is really uncofortable. There's just one good feature: it's position, which is in the centre of the city and of tourism.

This hotel is not really a hotel, it is backpackers accomodation.
Why it has a 3 star rating is a mystery to me. the rooms are old and extremely small. Room service is none existing (room was serviced 3 times out of 14 nights stay)
If you are looking for a HOTEL to stay I would certainly NOT recommend this place
Pictures on the internet look nice, but when I opend the room door I got a shock.
Still I stayed there 14 nights, but that was purely because of the price

I was staying at this hotel during songkran festival two weeks ago,I hoped I could get a nice shower after getting soaked through the crowd in khoasan road but unfortunately the water from the shower smelt like drainage/sewage or Longkang ( in malay language).now I understand why the thai always say same same . bcoz water from toilet same as water from sewage.

The only complaint is the room is a bit too small, other than that, the hotel staff are quite friendly and though breakfast is not too fantastic, the staff who served the breakfast is pretty friendly. Will definitely stay at this hotel in future trips.

Location is very good. Room size was very small, also bathroom size. Hotel looks nice and has all facilities for backpackers. If you simply look for a cheap place to sleep than this will be the right choice.
