This is my first stay at Sawasdee...

This is my first stay at Sawasdee Sukhumvit Inn. i had a pleasent stay with 3 of my friends. We book 2 delue room, the room size is ok, just the bathroom is bit worn out.The hotel is just 5-10mins walk to Eastern Bus Terminal (Ekamai Station-Pattaya),for those who need to get to Pattaya from Bangkok, u may drop by for 1 night stay.It takes about 15min car drive (taxi about 70bth) to reach the Suan Lum night bazzar, a place where you can shop for fashion at great value. The location of the hotel abit isolated, is better you have 2 or 3 friends with you for a night walk around Soi 57.

My friends and I stayed in the...

My friends and I stayed in the hotel for 5 nights(4/29 ~ 5/4). The room and bathroom are clean. Sheets are clean as well. Service is OK. Don't get any trouble while asking for some help. There are several choices about breakfasts, but they don't provide a menu, so you only know the options they say, which usually is "fried eggs" or "omelet". We had a chance to have porridge of rice when we saw others had it. It's a 5-story building and not equipped with an elevator, thinking about that if you care about climbing the stairs. The location is good, near BTS E6(Thong Lo) station. It takes about 7 minutes by walking(there are two 7-11 stores on the way too). Also a good choice for someone planning to go to Pattaya by bus. Eastern Bus Station(close to BTS E7 station) is also within a walking distance(about 20 minutes).

The hotel staff are ridiculously unfriendly. I requested to take a shower before my flight in the evening of the check-out day, and even though they have plenty of free rooms, they simply shoved a sign into my face which stated that check-out after 16:00 hours would cost a full day's room rate, and that they did not have any showers available otherwise. Sure thing, I am at their mercy with such a request, but I'd expect any hotel to try to meet their guests needs, if possible, and leaving the room uncleaned for another night when it's not needed, is definitely not far out of their way. The hotel isn't too far from the sky train, but it takes 15 minutes to get to Siam (and costs 25 Baht each way, so get a day pass if you travel 4 or more times). They have very nice computers with a fast connection at 60 Baht/hour pre-paid. But I won't stay at this place again, and I cannot recommend it to anyone who doesn't have business to do next door.

I'm really satisfied by Sawasdee Sukhumvit Inn...

I'm really satisfied by Sawasdee Sukhumvit Inn Hotel Bangkok, the price is cheap, so I won't expect too high for this hotel. I don't think the service is bad, the receptionist is very polite, the breakfast is OK. The view of the restaurant is very nice! I've reserved a deluxe room, the decoration is very fashionable, but the washroom is not so pretty. Anyway, I'm quite happy to stay here with such price. Moreover, the hotel is nearby the eastern bus stop, if you want to go to Koh samet, Pattaya...by bus in the next day, it's really a good choice!

Overall the room is tidy and neat, but the daily cleaning service is just ok. Have to walk certain distance to reach the hotel from Thong Lo BTS station.

Hotel location is good, near by throng...

Hotel location is good, near by throng lo station. many japanese resturants open lately. 5 min. walking distance to BTS. However, you need to walk up to the rooms and prepare a lock of door for extra security. order to make light breakfast.
