a guest house really

The location is very good being close to the skytrain and in the area there are many good Thai eateries, but the rooms are like boxes and for the price much too small. In essence it mutton dressed up as lamb and does not deserve to class itself as a hotel and really is just a smart guest house charging hotel rates. We used to stay at Sawasdee Langsuan where the lease has expired and it has now been demolished unfortunately. I think the Sawasdee group has got ahead of itself and now is no longer value for the rates they charge. We have since found a hotel and I mean a hotel that also includes breakfast for less money!

They tried to include in my bill things that I didn't take: a bottle of water and the city map. Check your bill carefully!

This is a good hotel with friendly people and a good value for the money. One of the best things is the 5 minute walk to the Sky train. It's not the Hilton, but the price is right. Hal from New Mexico

I stayed at the above hotel for...

I stayed at the above hotel for 6 days. I upgraded to a room with a window? The window looked out on a brick wall 1 metre away. My major complaint about this hotel is that there is no hotel parking, although advertised. Parking was in a very narrow cul-de-sac and most places are taken by residents who live there. 0n a number of occasions I had to park well down soi 57? And walk to the hotel. The room was clean but if all rooms are the same, they need a fresh coat of paint and the plumbing attended to.

The hotel is clean and worth for...

The hotel is clean and worth for the price,and thats something I admire always in Thailand but athouhg the Sawasdee inn Bangkok's rate was with breakfast,after informing the staff about the early morning departure out of the hotel,on checking out when I requested for breakfast,the staff informs me 'bfst starts at 7am,and we don't have staff now' I informed her that is not my problem,and I have paid for it (09331)but it was very negative response from her a typical response from a thai. I did inform her that I will complain.
