This hotel was good value for money...
This hotel was good value for money and we found the location quite good. We could walk to the Pratunam Markets and the Sky Train. Food at the hotel was good and resonably priced. Only problem with our room was the dirty carpet but they are now removing carpet and laying timber flooring I have been told. Try the Banana pancakes from the street stall at night, they are delicious and only 20 baht. Take the hotel card when you go out and give to the taxi drivers as has the address in Thai so makes it easier.

The location is actually quite good, with really just a 10-min walk from the BTS - provided you get off and head towards Center One, at Victory Monument. Along the walkway, there are plenty of shopping opportunities and food offerings, with even a public park (Santhi Phab Park) in the vicinity - hence I rated this place great for families. In spite of the infamous crawl, getting to anywhere from here is not too bad. The hotel service is a real surprise - friendly, efficient and helpful. Their attentiveness to your needs and warmth outweight whatever language barrier there may be. Room is a nice size, very clean sheets and bathroom, complete with the basics. Absolutely no frills, lots of privacy and booking via AsiaRooms made it a steal, with buffet breakfast included. A sumptuous meal, complete with continental and local offerings, great freshly brewed coffee too. A clear signage warn against using cabs waiting in front of the hotel and to ask for assistance. Hence, concierge and security personnel will help hail a cab to anywhere, almost anytime of the day. Almost didn't feel like leaving the room for the city sights...

We had a wonderful time in this hotel & Bangkok. The staff were very approachable & courteous. We did not have to worry about the services rendered to us. It is the best accomodation for budget travellers. Although we had to walk quite a distance to Pratunam, overall it was a worthwhile staying in this hotel.

This is my first time staying in...
This is my first time staying in this hotel. Although it is not a 5 star hotel but definetely the service is comparable to a 5 star hotel. The staff here are very friendly and helpful. They even guide me and gave me clear instruction how to take a bus to the near by shopping from the bus stop just in front of the hotel. It is easy and convinient to get to World trade centre and MBK by bus and it cost less than 20batt per person. It is our pleasure to also celebrate the 2 years aniversary of the hotel together staff and the owner of the Hotel. They are all friendly people. I will stay in the hotel again for my next Bangkok trip.

staff are very helpful to all information required. breakfast is good, but may need to change styles regularly. a bit far from bts, but still ok to walk for 15 minutes. near the city center which is quite good. bedroom need to add more lights (better sunlights in instead of light bulb).

This is the 3rd time that I...
This is the 3rd time that I have stayed at this hotel. One small question about the rooms. why do non-smokers only get twin rooms and not double rooms. On our departure for the airport. We decided to get a taxi to the new airport from Ibis hotel. There was a taxi in the hotel car park and it agreed to take us to the new airport. Before we got into the taxi, we said do you have a metre and his reply was yes. 5 minutes after we left the Ibis hotel the taxi man wanted to know where I was from, so I told him. He then said that the cost will cost 300 TBH and I have no metre. I said " well take me back to the Ibis hotel and I will find a taxi that has a metre what is working. He replied and called me stingy..He then continued to drive towards the airport. When we got there the metre fee reads 197.00TBH,not including toll fees.o I gave the driver 200 TBH. "Remember." There are two ways how to get to the airport from Ibis hotel. The toll way which will take about 30 minutes and the non-toll way which will take about 45 minutes. So please be careful.
