I and my friend stayed in this hotel for 3 nights in Sept 2007. Other than the breakfast was fine , we were given "surprises" throughout the 3 nights stay. First night, I went back to the hotel at 1.30am and was told by the receptionist that there will be no supply of water till 2am as they were doing some maintenance. I took my shower at 2.30am with the extremely small flow of water which eventually stopped flowing when I was shampooing half way. I was told to wait for half an hour inside the cubicle, shivering while waiting for the pathetic flow of water to be back. Second night, back to hotel after shopping, we were dismayed to realise that our half-drank mineral water that we left on our table(not in the dustbin!)had been discarded and no replenishment of water or toiletries was done. Worse still, our window was left opened and it was raining very heavily outside! It couldn't have been the art of me or my friend as we didn't even know that the windows could be opened. Luckily, we did not leave any valuable in the room as we could have been an easy prey with the platform outside the opened window. Third night, without fail to our "surprises", the housekeeping did not replace our bathing towels. Instead, a piece of floor towel, which we had not been receiving for the past 2 days, was given. With the above-mentioned, I certainly will not make a returning trip to Ibis Siam.
