Rooms were average, but expected for the price, reasonably quiet location, not far to walk to the nearest train station, which then very quickly gets you to MBK. Overall, good value for money

The room was very clean and pleasantly...
The room was very clean and pleasantly furnished, if a little small. Excellent buffet breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff. Location fine - the 551 bus from the airport drops you just 200m away. The Victory Monument Skytrain station is a 10 minute walk - this area has many restaurants and a street market. Good value.

Overall, it is fairly valued for money....
Overall, it is fairly valued for money. It is good for budget traveller. Everything is rather just sufficient, eg bed size, walking space, toilet size.Lackings are space at basin to put toileteries. Communication by front lobby staff is poor. 1 staff promised an hour late checkout but on the day of checkout, I was threatened to pay for another half a day if i don't get out latest half an hour later. There is no handling over of what is promised. Hotel seems for budget traveller, definately not for fussy travellers.

It was an enjoyable experience. However, it would be better if there was more variety of food in the room service menu. The bathroom was a little too small and there was also no space to put toiletries.

Rooms were clean and adequate but service...
Rooms were clean and adequate but service at the front desk was rather tardy. Reception staff were also a little cold and curt. Main disadvantage is its location. Although it's within walking distance (about 10 mins) to Victory Monument Station, the air is pretty bad along the way. Also, when returning at night, you have to pass through a really crowded walkway that is almost impossible to navigate if you are loaded with shopping bags.

Convenient! Located at Main street, around 7 mins walking distance to Victory Monument BTS station. Breakfast is good. Value for money!

Good hotel to stay. Buffet breakfast was good. Room is alright, spacious and clean except the air-con in the hotel functioned like airport - no power in constrast with hot weather in Bangkok. Location is a bit out of main shopping area and hard to get a cab at reasonable price at peak hour. Overall, if you want to stay in a value for money hotel, you will have the right choice.

I stayed at IBIS Siam at 1/6/07...
I stayed at IBIS Siam at 1/6/07 for 3 nights. The hotel and room are clean and tidy, buffet breakfast is excellent. Bathroom water is hot and water flow is strong. My firend and I are very satisfied with the hotel. The only inconvenience would be that it is a bit far away from the Sky Train. You have to walk about 10 min and the neighbourhood is not that nice. But it's very good value for the money and perfect for budget travellers, in my opinion.
