Really i recommend this hotel for every...
Really i recommend this hotel for every one, i stayed in this hotel twice the first one in 21 August 2006 and the second time in 31 August 2006 for 3 nights, the size of the room and bed are very excellent, during my first visit the swimming pool was close around two weeks for maintenance.

Terrible service... they do not know how to treat guests yet!! close to sky train and great lobby. i do not recommend this hotel - if you appreciate being treated well... even to be greated at the door then go elsewhere. I recommend - sofitel silom!
I stayed in the hotel during first...
I stayed in the hotel during first week of August 06. I got a room upgrade to platinum which was gr8. Lovely room with 2 LCD tvs one in the bedroom and one in the lounge. However the elevators were too few to carry the increasing load (no cargo lift either). The location was convenient i.e. close to NANA skytrain station however that 3 minute walk to the station was not pleasant!!! Anyway overall experence inside the hotel was good.

The Lifts are grossly insufficient, getting from your room to lobby sometimes takes about 15 minutes.
Stayed there in July, two months after...
Stayed there in July, two months after opening, and most things seem to be in place now. Platinum room is gigantic and suite-like, with large entry, kitchen space, living room, bedroom and bathroom; two separate air condition systems for living room and bedroom. Everything is new and shiny, and I really enjoyed staying there - as opposed to the Amari Boulevard that we had to change to afterwards because the Grand Sukhumvit was fully booked... an old hotel, small rooms, and about the same price... very disappointing.
Pool is now open, too - small but OK. Only two of three lifts were operating which resulted in long waiting times... sometimes we spent 10 minutes in the lobby waiting for a lift to come, and then stopped at nearly every floor on the way up. Kind of annoying, but overall just a minor flaw.

Hotel is still new, some floors are still under renovation. However, overall, service was very good. Frontline and restaurant staff were very courteous and helpful. Great buffet breakfast too! Keep this up!
The hotel had just opened for 3...
The hotel had just opened for 3 weeks when I checked in, so the room and furnishing were new and fresh. Room size are decent, I got 2 LCD TVs. The location was convenient, just 3 minutes walk to Nana BTS and taxis are plentiful. Small but beautiful pool. However, the hotel was too new that renovation works were still going on in the fitness centre and pool. TV channels selection were limited for the first two nights but more came up on the last night. I believe that these small problems had largely vaporised with time. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
