We arrived very late into bangkok the...
We arrived very late into bangkok the problem is the airport is still not functioning well and difficult to find where to go and not notified that walk way to hotel not finished. Late and tired not a good combination to arrive at Bangkok airport. The service when we finally found the hotel was excellent apart from the shower which sticks out and no matter where you stand in the shower hits you all else very good.

Very nice hotel, but the location at...
Very nice hotel, but the location at the hotel makes it useful for only business travellers or those in transit. The hotel is quite new (as is the airport). It was difficult finding the hotel representative at the airport, however. There are no signs directing how to find the hotel.

The hotel is lovely - spacious foyer...
The hotel is lovely - spacious foyer and lovely pool areas. However it has a captive audience, being the only hotel at the new airport, and is expensive. It still does not provide some of its advertised feaures - the walkway to the airport for example - which doesn't matter as there is a mini bus every few minutes, but don't take time wandering around the airport looking for the underground walkway, as I did! ALso, the in-house movies that are advertised in the room are not yet available, and being an airport hotel, cut off from other entertainment, they would be a welcome addition - again don't waste time flicking through all the channels trying to find them!The hotel is well set up for early morning flights, with the cafe opening at 3 am and very efficient wake-up call system and friendly staff all helping one on the way!

Found the hotel very refreshing after a long plane ride, the buffet in the morning was very good and the room was excellent.

Not a hotel that caters for travellers...
Not a hotel that caters for travellers with early morning flights e.g. no 24hr coffee shop. We had 6.50am flight and could not get breakfast (included in room price) before 6.00am unless you pay a high price just for coffee. We found it to be overpriced but being the only airport hotel they get away with it. Our bathroom door was too big for the frame so consequently would not close. Notice in room states check out before mid-day and no check in before 2.00pm. Airport Hotel ????

The location at the new airport can't...
The location at the new airport can't be beat for airport access and it is completely new. The breakfast buffet is outstanding. Unfortunately it is very expensive $$$$

We staid for one night (22nd November...
We staid for one night (22nd November 2006) on a stopover from Sydney to Vienna. For this it is perfect. The hotel is a short (free) shuttle bus ride from the airport. The underground pedestrian tunnel was not finished when we were there. Great breakfast. We spent a whole day at the beautifully landscaped pool, great for putting one in the right holiday mood. Overall very satisfactory, but quite pricy. We would probably stay there again on a one-night stopover.

This hotel suits our need to be...
This hotel suits our need to be close to the airport, away from the crowd, amidst greenery, easy access to the coast, excellent facilities, well trained staff and good food. If you use the toll way the city is half an hour away. This is not a cheap way to live in Bangkok but a veery comfortable way should you be willing to spend that much more. I have found the hotel flawless in every way.You can book it for a family holiday with absolute peace of mind.It matches up to the hygiene standards of Singapore (where I live and work) and retains the inimitable hospitality and charm of Thailand.
