Novotel
I have been staying at this hotel once or twice a year since they opened. There is no hotel more convienent to the airport. The rooms are becoming dated. Stains in the carpet, holes in the sheets, dented and stained furniture (room 2229). They still have an outrageous charge to connect to the internet, where most hotels are free. TV channels are very limited.
On the upside, the hotel is very close to the airport and has an under ground walkway directly to the airport. Shuttle runs every 15 minutes 24/7.
Food and beverage are excellent and the service at this hotel is 5 star!

Better than expected
It was a plesant experience to escape the flooding and stay in an exceedingly fine hotel. Room was fantastic (for Novatel standard). The standard throughout this hotel is the reason for it being recognised as the best Airport Hotel in Asia. Asiarooms booking and pricing was 1st class (as usual; no extra charges and you get what they tell you.

1 night in Bangkok
Very suitable as a stopover between 2 flights.
Checking in takes some time.
TV does not work well and is outdated.

Close to the airport, customer service was second to none,great special through asia rooms,will definately stay here again, and not to forget the great coffee recomend a half shot Latte :)

Convenient and Good Value
Very nice room and excellent check in system. Excellent shuttle service to and from the terminal (although the meeting point at Gate 4 might be better advertised). Very nice staff. Not a lot of information about the hotel available in the room. Only real negative was the restaurant: the evening buffet and the breakfast foods were all lukewarm, in some cases cold. That needs to be improved to match the otherwise high standards set in the hotel

Excellant location for anyone staying overnight in Bangkok . Easy access to the main terminals and walking distance to the restaraunts at th airport . No need for taxis or tut tuts

Arrived very early in the morning and had no issues with early check in, staff were very pleasant and accommodated us with extra bed in our room efficiently with no extra charge. Would have no hesitation to stay at this hotel again. Five minutes from the airport and good if you have an early flight in the morning.

expensive isolation
Can't fault the ammenities and service but because of its location we were left at the mercy of the hotels price list. Anything you want will cost an unreasonable amount so many trips to the airport 7/11 etc. The only thing this place has got going for it is its proximity to the airport. If you want to actually experience Bangkok; stay somewhere else.
