Room was small and smelled of paint,...
Room was small and smelled of paint, bed uncomfortable Aircon ok and bathroom with hot water ok, tv lacked a few channels and did not have remote. Located well and breakfast ok but the "land of smiles" did not apply to breakfast staff. Ok.... might stay again if I was stuck but plenty of accom in the area so am tempted to see what the opposition has to offer in future

The hotel was located quiet well, near...
The hotel was located quiet well, near historical core of Bangkok but in peaceful part of street. The room was basic but clean, I just missed towel there. Staff is friendly, helpful. You have to pay 300b. for key deposit, safety boxes in reception need your own padlock, so if you intent to use them, take it with you:-) I would stay there again. I consider the choice of hotel as very good, especially in relation price and what you get.

Well for the money I guess you...
Well for the money I guess you couldn't expect anything more. When we arrived we got given the key for a dirty unmade room. But in the end it was a place to sleep, that was reasonably clean. Quick walk to main attractions and Khoasan Rd. Breakfast included was the biggest highlight. I think for a couple more dollars you can get much better, but this is probably the cheapest accomodation in Bangkok.

Service was pretty bad, for an hotel...
Service was pretty bad, for an hotel with the word smile in it we didnt see any of that, you get what you paid for, if all you need the room for is to sleep and shower its good for a tight budget otherwise fork over the extra bit and get a better hotel.

Terrible!!! The first night when i saw the...
Terrible!!! The first night when i saw the matches box there was hairs in the bedsheet and a big flyer cockroach!!!! I had to drag the man in the reception to the room because he did not understand me. he gave another room!!! Location was horrible also. After 3 frustrated attempts to go back to the hotel by taxi (every taxi driver refused to take me to the hotel because it was so far), i found a generous soul who took me there. Never again I will come back to this filthy hotel.

Perhaps my expectations were to big, but...
Perhaps my expectations were to big, but i was really disappointed by this room. for the same price u get better stays in this area. I d avoid this hotel, if u want to have a nice stay. the room is small, and the toilet really like prison. too small. the windows are old and only of gitter. so i d never go again there
