I was dissapointed with the Sawasdee Smile...
I was dissapointed with the Sawasdee Smile Inn. Booking on the internet the hotel was completely mis-represented with the room facilities. The toilet/shower room was so small that it was impossible to sit on the toilet with the door shut. The walls were so thin that everything said in the next room was very clear. The only good thing that I can say was that the bed was very comfortable

When we arrived the room was not...
When we arrived the room was not what we paid for and they were not willing to refund us or upgrade. After a 20 hour flight our first night was sleepless with paper thin walls and 2 screaming children next store throughout the night. Management did move us to a bottom floor (after us insisting for a 1/2 hour) with out a TV that we had paid for, Only to find this was the floor the hookers spent their evenings working and would talk after getting paid on their cell phones below our inside window that did not shut because of broken windows. Young travelers would party in the hallways starting around 12-6am. This must be aceptable because management did not care to make any changes or discount our rates. If we had not prepaid we would have left immediately!

my experience in this hotel is...i expected...
my experience in this hotel is...i expected more and the pics promised quite different. the location is OK,but it's not so quiet as it's said on the web site. from 3 a.m. I woke up every 10 min because of the rooster who enjoyed its singing or whatever. the room was small,but that didn't bother me so much. everything was so dirty, that it was hard for me to overcome my attitude and I just forced myself to sleep.but the noisy night didn't give me a chance o get rest,as I was bothered by the aircon from the next room. the complimentary breakfast didn't cheer me up either...even the assistance with the axi..he reception justt told me to contact the taxi driver directly..no way that I'll stay again in that place...

We stayed 2 nights in Smile Inn....
We stayed 2 nights in Smile Inn. The room is quite small as well as bathroom. However we are not concern about because most of the time we are at outside, just come back for sleep. One first noght, there are problem in air conditioner as is not function well, the management willing change another room for us. Few minutes walking distance to Khaosan Road and air port bus stop. Overall is value for money for those budget traveller.

honest when i walk in, i said...
honest when i walk in, i said god this is not my type, but be there i felt i'm with family, the name smile it suit the place, i recommend it to all young people who like to have a good time, but not for my age group, as woman alone is not good idea, but for me the place is majec, you think you are country side, but you are in the old city of bangkok, food great and price very cheep, i love the side of it with smiling staff also very clean, if you can sleep with noise i recommend it!
