Day 1 18th Nov.07 - Checked in...
Day 1 18th Nov.07 - Checked in but receptionist cannot find my booking even though presented with Asiarooms.com voucher. After half an hour, unwillingly gave me a room without towels. Request for towel was not given immediately.Have to wait for more than one hour and still no towel. Finally, went out without bath.
Day 2 19th Nov.07 - Room was not clean and have to request cleaning.
Day 3 20th Nov.07 - Denied breakfast even though booking comes with breakfast and was given on Day 2. Receptionist said under the Voucher printed from Asiarooms.com under Special Remarks "A child under 12 must share the room without extra bed (no breakfast). The receptionist insist no breakfast and pointed out in bracket - "no breakfast". I explained to her many times that you simply cannot plucked the word out but after some argument, she called her supervisor from another Sawadee hotel to clarify and was confirmed breakfast was inclusive without offering any apology. Room was not clean again!!!
Day 4 21st Nov.07 - Have to wait for a few minutes before the receptionist on handphone finished her private conversation to attend to us as if she can't see us standing in front of her.
Day 5 22nd Nov.07 - Finally, check out. Oh what a deal!!! I will NEVER use this hotel and I will strongly do NOT recommend WELCOME SAWADEE. You will get terribly irritated and agitated. Hotel around Khaosan Road have better rate and room especially Khaoson Palace at Baht550 compare to the Welcome Sawadee which is old and needs renovation. I suggest the hotel management send their front desk receptionist for rehabilation or early retirement before the hotel hit dirt bottom as their other sister SAWADEE hotel group personnel are more capable.
