I stayed in Citadines, Sukhumvit soi 16 on 2 occasions this summer. The first time I booked the room through Asia Rooms, and I have nothing bad to say about that. But given the fact that I had noted in advance, that I would arrive early morning, I was really sad to learn, that my room would not be ready for about 4 hours. I could however get an upgrade, should I choose to pay for it. I did, hoping that I could sleep a bit of the jet lag off, but I was not lucky. It was a Saturday morning and the hotel was being painted on the outside, so painters were hanging from the roof, making quite a bit of noise. But the room was great and the location was good as well, being very close to the Sky Train.
A couple of weeks later I returned with my family, unannounced, and got a room. The first night the breakfast was included, but for some reason, this changed for our second night.
And what's with the electrics in the room. You have to have studied rocket science to understand how to turn on the lights, when you use the bathroom at night.Weird sence of humour from the builders?
