Unhappy Stay
We booked 2 superior rooms ended up with one upgraded room which they claimed bigger but unable to add in another bed. So three of us has to squeeze in the superior room without window and also we have to pay for extra bed at 500bt per night ! The small superior room supposed to be a non smoking room but we kept smelling cigarette smell from the air-con and they refused to change our rooms telling us that it's all full. For the 4 nights we stayed , we hardly see any hotel guest at the room & hotel lobby or bump into anyone at all! The counter staff are not use helpful. The only good point it that it's very near to Asoke & the new mall Terminal 21.

Convenient location
The Key is pleasant for its value for money boutique set up. Located at Asok BTS and Sukhumwit MRT, makes traveling around Bangkok convenient, even to Phayatai BTS for connections to airport, cost you only BHT50, especially in my case when my flight was during peak hours and 3 taxis wanted to charge me BHT400-500! Robinsons supermarket just round the corner if you can't find what you need at 711s. Rooms are clean, no fuss, small pantry, free wifi. If you're looking for comfortable place to sleep along the major shopping belt, The Key is it.

The key bangkok - awesome boutique hotel
Nice environment, friendly service, superb location with nearby BTS and MRT stations. Definitely will recommend for those who are visiting Bangkok.

Gold Key
This Hotel is a excellent value for the money. The location is excellent, one long block from the BTS station.
My only problem, was not having a window to the outside world. This room was a good sized, and value. I'd book this hotel again, but might upgrade to a outside room.

I really liked staying at The Key and the only thing negative I can say is that some of their non-smoking rooms have been occupied by non considerate smokers.
The location is great - close to Asok BTS and Sukhumvit MRT station.

Asia rooms told me that credit card was just to confirm booking but when i arrived at hotel they had already taken payment from my card and handed me the receipt. The room was ok but at the front of the hotel and there was a lot of traffic noise. I asked at reception for a late check out,and was told 1000bt check out 6 o clock,any later 2400bt. I then asked if i could book for one night at internet price 1240bt and was refused,when i asked why i was told the hotel was full,but they were willing to let me have it at there walk in price.Some of the reception staff were not very helpful and i was surprised because i have been to thailand many times and have not experienced this before.I wont be using this hotel again,and would advise anyone who does to find out first if u have a front or rear room before u book.
