Take a meter taxi to Ecotel hotel for 350 baht fr. Airport, hotel is just opp. D'ma hotel & bangkok palace hotel , That's Nothing i could ask for more for budget traveller like me (paid SGD$55 per night for twin) ... with daily mini buffet breakfast provided. breakfast is acceptable to me, rice , noodles , western food, cereals , fruits... nice room with hair dryer,walk abt 15mins to baiyoke sky hotel/ pratunum ,quite a distance to skytrain , think the nearest is chit lom. front desk staff can speak little english but they r very helpful ,there's a tour desk at the lobby to cater for your tour needs, few massage centre nearby. Don't engage taxi fr. the booth outside the hotel , very expensive !!!!

New hotel,soft opening while we stay during May'2008. Simple, clean and cheap. About twenty minutes walking distance to Pratunam market.

Initially I felt that Ecotel hotel is not really accessible. However after few taxi rides, I find that it is quite convenience to places of interests. You just need to know where you are!
The place is very new and has basic facilities that meet all my needs. The room is clean and the staff is really friendly.
I will certainly go back again!!

Bad experience! Nice hotel and rooms but...
Bad experience! Nice hotel and rooms but bad service. Even though staff are courteous, they forgot you're a guest as soon as you leave the lobby.
Harrasment by motor-taxi and taxi drivers in front of hotel. Worst trip and location I've ever had in Bangkok for a long time. Felt unsafe.

Reasonable price for a hotel - nice clean room and amenities. Wish hotel staff can do more for public transport.
Motor-taxi and taxi drivers prowling for hotel guests and offering ridiculous priced food recomendation and travel fare.

Very nice hotel. Very clean and not at all what you would expect when driving up to it. It's in quiet a good location, just a short taxi ride to shopping clomplex etc. Staff are very freindly and attentive although their english is pretty poor. I would definately stay here again and would recommend it to others!

nice new hotel. staff are very friendly. we do enjoy our stay but it would be nice if they have bathtub provided cos we have a baby and it's quite troublesome to bath her.

(b) Grand and comfort lobby for travellers to take a short rest.
(c) Short way to City Centre.

(e) Quiet environment around Hotel
Improvement:
(a) A safe box in room.
(b) Table and chairs in room (only have 1 chair when I stayed in).
(c) Electric water boiler in room.
(d) Not taste good for the welcome drink
(e) Change more types of food for the daily breakfast menu.
Overall:
The room is comfort and clean. I was much appreciated for that. However, the location not quite convenience but is OK for leisure visitor who is not in a hurry. As a new hotel, the facilities are satisfied. It is worthy to recommend to my friends to stay in. Hope that I / my friends may see more improvements in your hotel when stay in next time.
