The reception area is quite nice but...
The reception area is quite nice but small, but the entrance seems to be at the side, which is a bit odd. The interior is European style, which is quite nice.
Room was big enough for 3 comfortable super single beds, and the extra bed was very big, not the lousy fold-up type.
Room was very clean, and fairly new, as Ecotel seems to be only partially completed. Fortunately, at the time we went, there weren't any noisy renovations going on.
The bathroom was also quite clean - no bath tub, but has a separate shower stall. However, taking a shower was quite annoying, sometimes too hot, sometimes too cold!
Overall, the hotel is very attractive for budget travelers! I hope they will not raise the rates once the hotel is fully completed!

Value for money. Just need to walk about 10 minutes to Pratunam Market. The hotel is well decorated and almost everything is new. Will definitely return to The Ecotel. Kindly take note that there is no swimming pool to cater to children's needs.

My family and I were impressed with the cleanliness of the room, with clean white bedsheets and pillowcases and fluffy pillows.
Although there is not many facilities provided by the hotel (e.g hot drinks facilities in the room), you will not go hungry as their cafe and Thai restaurant serve great food and they can send your hot tea to your room.
I noticed that this hotel has a good location for muslim travellers as it is situated very near to halal restaurants which serve delicious Indian and Iranian food...

totally worth the amount that we paid! Hotel may look rundown from the outside, but once you see the lobby and rooms, its a whole DIFFERENT thing! rooms were clean and tidy, with shampoo and soap provided in the bathroom (which is quite rare for 3* hotels). hotel staff were super friendly and helped us with getting around bangkok. will def. stay there again!

Staff were very helpful and friendly, even at like 2am when we needed hot water for our super noodles and we were slightly drunk they were helpful. Rooms were very clean and hotel was also spotless. Very new and modern looking would definately reccommend.
Wasn't right in the heart of things but was only 10-15 mins in a taxi to main places. Avoid tuk tuks down the road though! xx

I am impressed with the cleaniness and the courtesy of the hotel staffs. They got what I needed, breakfast was good although similar items during my 4 days stay there. Hotel is new, part of it still under construction. Exact location is behind Bkk palace, many taxi drivers never heard of that hotel, so when board the taxi just tell them bkk palace.
It was a great stay there with my gf and families....

Nice place to put up for budget travellers.Room is big,clean and new. But not accessible as what you read fr the web,20-25 mins to walk to Central World. Anyway, cab is cheap cost about 50-60 bahts to get around. Will stay there again on my next visit.

The hotel is new. Room and bathroom is very clean, comfortable and tidy. It is spacious too with that kind of rate.Breakfast provided is good too. The hotel is rather new so many taxi driver do not know the location.Though the hotel location is at Pratunam area but it is not convenient as mentioned in internet. Have to walk abt 20 minutes to Pratunam Shopping Mall and not many restaurant near by so is rather hard if you would like to have supper at night.May consider staying there next time.

I stayed there with my frds and family for 4nights. The hotel rooms are clean but the hotel has totally no facilities and the hotel area's quite dirty.
Basically, a hotel for shoppers who'll only need the room for sleep. Breakfast and service of the hotel is lousy too.Would recommend this hotel to budget travellers but not to couples who are there for honeymoons or businessmen who are there for business trips.
