This was an absolutely fantastic hotel!! I researched hotels wanting a good location and I found it!! Its a 2 minute walk to the skytrain and subway, making travelling around the city, very easy without hassels. We had paid for a superior room (requesting a king bed and non-smoking) but on arrival they didn't have one availble so they upgraded us to a deluxe with both requests, excellent service! Staff were very helpful and friendly, english was never a problem. We had breakfast included in our package. It was an excellent breakfast, the chef made our eggs fresh to our request (and were the best we had for our whole trip!) They had cereal, fresh fruit, bakery treats, cold meats, even a salad bar, it was great! On our 2nd and final morning we had to leave very early at 5am, so we miss the buffet but they even provided us with a breakfast box which we ate on the way to the airport, just a really nice gesture which they didn't have to provided! They also have a wonderful area aside from the resturant which provides tea/coffee, soft drinks and nibbles 24 hours a day free of charge!! This was the best place to come and relax and be free of the hasseling and noise that bangkok has. Thought about staying at a cheaper place but definetely worth a little bit extra. Would recommend family and friends to stay, its that good! Our room was a deluxe and was excellent, loved the touch of our "pet" elephant made of towels very cute! Overall, would fly to bangkok just to stay here again!

park plaza is a functional hotel which offers
good value and great location. do not expect lavish lobby and multiple restaurants in the hotel. its only maximum 2 min walk to asoke bts and 3 bts stops away from shopping centres of siam. room is nice with 32 inch lcd tv, free internet. breakfast was good also and available till 11. it has a functional pool and small gym and only one restaurant. but the key selling point is the room which is very modern and comfortable. the bathroom is not very big but is good with a great shower.

The hotel itself in term of room and service is excellent. It is just that it's located slightly away from the main shopping scene but is helps by convenient of BTS and subway nearby.

Another disappointed, no souvenior as should have thing like as key ring that is put on the room as gift for guest. Why I could know because of hearing from others. I think that is good souvenior for guest to memory.
Front desk staff had not guide or introduce where could get on the lift...I just guessed!
Except that one front line staff met at 1st night, other front line staffs is very friendly and helpful included security,who early duty by outside door, he is very nice and polite. Let me think, bell boy who help guest open the door and restaurant staff ...I like them~friendly smile every morning!

The hotel can be summed up in one word- superb. Great locations, beautiful rooms, friendly service, they checked me in pretty early and that too with a smile and on top of that, they also gave me a late check out as my flight was at 18:45 hrs.
Breakfast was good, perhaps the options were a tad bit limited but whatever was available was delicious.The baked sea bass with lemon butter sauce one morning was outstanding!
Location is pretty good, exactly 4 minutes leisurely walk to the Asok Skytrain station, the area in front of the hotel was quite ok, although it did tend to get a little hot with brisk business being conducted along the Sukhimvit stretch but after all, this is Bangkok.
Overall, the room is 5 star standard and combine that with genuinely friendly service and extremely competitive rates, this is a great hotel. Look forward to staying again at the Park Plaza

If you are looking for a reasonably...
If you are looking for a reasonably priced quality stay, this is it. Stylish rooms, good facilities, excellent service - we couldn't have asked for more! The only down side is that being a new hotel, cab drivers have major problems locating the place. Bring a map!
