Great experience for who wants to enjoy the pleasures of Bangkok's nights...with good food and services, nice rooms and excellents views over the city.
During my 1st stay in Jan 2011 Wi Fi was free of charge but this time surprisingly did not offered free Wi Fi and receptionist told me that this time they do not offer free Wi Fi, which was really not a pleasant experience.
Whenever you make your booking through Asiaroom.com, double check about the free WiFi.
They have tuk tuk service to Nana BTS but only upon request and make sure to enjoy this free ride
It was a enjoyable stay.
We have been here before and again absolutely no faulting our stay - husband was recuperating from an operation-we were given a quiet room and nothing was too much trouble. The doormen were so obliging and the cleaners and restaurant staff were terrific. We actually arrived a couple of days earlier than we had booked and there was no problem to extend our stay in the same room. Will stay again next Bangkok trip -
We informed the front desk at check in that our departure flight was at 9pm in the evening on 29 Dec. We asked if we can have a slightly later check out and was given a negative answer immediately stating full house and overbooking as the reason. They are also aware that we have a 8 yr old boy with us but when we checked into the room, there were only 2 pillows and 2 bath towels. We requested for additional towels and pillow and waited for almost an hour with no one delivering the items. My wife then called housekeeping again and was told that due to the high occupancy, they ran out of pillows and towels. She raised her voice and in the next 5 mins, a very impolite staff from house keeping knocked on the door (not sure why he did not use the doorbell) and dumped the 2 pillows and 1 towel at the door. We were also told that we had to pay and additonal 400baht per day for our little boy's breakfast which we agreed upon check-in. However, to our dismay at breakfast the next morning, the food quality leaves much to be desired from a 5-star serviced apartment. Coffee was luke warm and we had to pay extra for cuppaccino. There were also 2 plates of ham that were infested with ants all over them. We cancelled our child's breakfast for the next 2 days and made our own breakfast in the apartment instead. So think twice before you decide on including breakfast to your room charges. You will be better off getting some nice fresh danish from the cafes and buy your own beverage.
The room was big, comfortable and clean but my room did not have much view.
Breakfast was simple but I enjoyed it.
The gym was clean. The pool was also clean but did not have enough time to enjoy.
In general this place was pleasent but to the nearest BTS station needs some walk.
nice large rooms, seperate bedroom from loungeroom,...
nice large rooms, seperate bedroom from loungeroom, 2 tvs, good to have a washingmachine too, I can't fault it, it was a good hotel to stay at, check-in and check-out were handled efficiently, doormen and security were always helpful. a bit of a walk down soi 11 to get to Sukhumwit rd, but motorcycle taxis are just outside the gates. I will stay here again
