Business Trip to Bangkok
Great location. Freindly and polite staff. Very good room, with nice views of the city skyline. Superb gym and recreation facilities. Excellent in-house restaurants, for different budgets, from Coffee Shop, to fine dinning on 55th Floor. Shopping Mall connect to the Hotel, which has over 100 different types of eateries, with a also a Supermarket, Cinema and many international shops.

Nice Hotel - great view of the city
Very nice hotel. The staff are very helpful, they make you feel very taken care of. The upper restaurants are very expensive for Thailand but the view is spectacular. Platinum Fashion Mall is a few minutes walk and the Pratinum Market is across the road from there. Platinum Fashion Mall is endless for woman's and children clothing but very limited for mens clothing. Pratinum market has more mens clothing and alot more for older woman (we were shopping for family) but you have to be prepared to wander through the narrow ally ways - worth it though. All in all a good value and will stay again

Great weekend in Bangkok
We had a lovely break in Bangkok with family passing through from Oz to Britain - the hotel impressed them with the great service, friendly staff, interesting and comfortable rooms. They could not believe how cheap everything was! Shopping next door at CentralWorld was easy to get to, and strolling on the walkway below the SkyTrain made getting around comfortable and interesting. We never give 6 stars as something can always be improved upon, but this was almost there!

Good Location
I must thanks the staff for preparing champagne and fruits for our wedding anniversary. Greatly appreciated. However, i find the hotel is well located however the staff(some) can be more proactive and friendly.Overall, not a bad experience..

A pleasant surprise
Stayed there with 2 other gal friends. The room and toilet was of a good size. The cylindrical shower area was very sexy. The choice of movie channels wasn't great but it has most of the international news channels.
The staff from concierge to room service were very friendly. Service at frontdesk was efficient.
It was very well located. Just 5-10mins to Platinum Mall, Siam Square, Chitlom and Siam BTS and 4 faced Buddha. It is connected to Central World hence it was very convenient.
We will definitely stay there again when we are back to Bangkok next!

The Centara Grand At Centralworld, Bangkok is...
The Centara Grand At Centralworld, Bangkok is a good place to stay in central Bangkok with good transport facilities nearby. However, it's not really a five star hotel as one would expect and a bit pricy for what you get. Like so often, also this hotel does not get the small but important details right, which define a really good hotel.

Breakfast was not included as promised when...
Breakfast was not included as promised when booking. Even when I requested for 2 beds, I still had to pay 1,800 baht per day for an extra bed, equivalent to 5,400baht in total. Bathroom facilities was not exactly user-friendly.
