the hotel is close to perfect given its very reasonable price. staff were very courteous speciall the reception. the room was very nice, smaller than i expected but still ok. had many cable channels, hotel is nice and new, good internet access, the FREE 1 hour thai massage also very good... downside: not so nice view when i open the window, not so nice breakfast buffet, a bit hard to find for some taxi cabs

We heard about this hotel by reading...
We heard about this hotel by reading through AsiaRooms reviews. Hotel is very new, clean and big. One thing to take note though is the poor location. Almost all of the cab drivers had difficulties finding the hotel. I recommend asking the hotel staff to write you the address in Thai so you can show the cab drivers. But the good thing is the hotel provides free tuk tuk service to nearby places like Platinum Mall. I definitely will stay in this hotel again the next time I'm in Bangkok!

A new hotel, well furnised and clean; our room was quiet small. Friendly and very helpful staff. Breakfast- adequate. The hotel is very close to the garment -young people- district and a short taxi ride to major shopping centres at Siam and Central. It can be difficut to find, a 5 mn. walk up soi 13, (safe) from the main road, but as this is mostly a one way lane, taxi's should go up soi 11 then into soi 13. Not in an area with many decent restaurants. Good budget hotel.

We chose this hotel because it's cheap...
We chose this hotel because it's cheap and has a good location. There's a free hotel tuk tuk service to send us to the main road and places such as the pratunam market and platinum mall are within walking distance from there. For a triple sharing room, 3 nights' stay is only S$89 per person with breakfast included! With such a low price, we did not place too high an expectation of the hotel. So we were pleasantly surprised by the spacious rooms, as well as their cleanliness. Probably because the hotel is new, the cleanliness is comparable to a 4 star hotel. (Hope they maintain it several years down the road!) There isn't much variety for the breakfast buffet but anyway we don't need that much variety so it was okay. Every morning, the hotel staff greets us and asks whether we want an omelette or a sunny side up, which will be prepared only after order is placed so the egg is definitely piping hot when it's served. The hotel building is not big, only 8 storeys. The interior design looks like a boutique hotel, giving us a cosy and warm feeling. Another plus point is that the hotel staff are courteous, patient and always serve us with a smile. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will go back when we visit Bangkok again.

The room was above our expectation, it is cosy and yet tasteful. My husband commented that he felt the rooms were just like home. The breakfast spread was good. The only draw back was it's location. But all thanks to the free tuk tuk shuttles. I will recommend Western Mayfair Suites to my friends. And yes, would stay there again when I visits Bangkok.

They charge USD50 per night for 2 person, but if you add another person, they charge you extra USD20, but they give you the same room with one extra bed, making the room too crampy. No value added for 3 person. Breakfast was really bad. They actually recycle the indoor shoes for guests, very unhygienic. Some of the housekeeping staff are not friendly. The location is hidden, most taxis don't have idea on where the place is. Overall, its not worth the price.

We stayed at the mayfair on the 30th aug to the 3rd sept, after going down soi 13,and thinking wow its a long way from petchburi rd,it was a god send because it was so quiet and a very nice walk back from the markets. The free tuk tuk service was always at the ready if needed. The free unlimited WiFi was realy teriffic and reliable. The food was very nice and reasonably priced,a little bit more on the menu would be good as well, but still very nice. The staff really have to be commended on there willingness to make you feel at home they could not do enough for us.The only thing disappointing was that we had a small balcony that could not be accesed, due to there policy, would have been great for a bit of fresh air.Anybody looking for a very moden stylish and comfortable hotel, you cannot go past the best western mayfair bangkok. ps you have to have foot massage at "tanjerine" next door,it was terriffic. judy and james

I enjoyed my 2-nights stay in the hotel very much. I had reserved 2 rooms prior to my trip. I arrived early in the morning, way before check-in time and the receptionist told me they have rooms available for me and allowed us to check-in. My mum even had her room changed to a superior room as she preferred 2 single beds with her friend. We had to check out at 5.45am to catch our flight. With some arrangement, receptionist arranged for our taxi and also breakfast boxes on the go! Hotel staff ensured that the cab fare is right, before the driver drives off. Two thumbs up for initiative! Hotel staff were very friendly and accomodating. The receptionists, the security guard and also the guy providing the tuk-tuk service. Excellent! Minus point - hotel is tucked in an alley. Can be rather quiet and dark to walk back to the hotel at night. This is also why hotel staff encouraged us to ring them up, for the complimentary tuk-tuk to pick us up from the main road back to the hotel at night.

The hotel is not anywhere near the main road, it is unsafe to walk back to hotel especialy at night. However kudos to the complimentary tuk-tuk service and friendly hotel staff, we still enjoy our trip. The room is magnificent as well, more than a budget hotel. The hotel need to improve on their breakfast menu. I'll still recommend this place.
