Even though the hotel, interior and installations...
Even though the hotel, interior and installations show their age it's a very good value hotel with nice and hospitable staff. Of course cannot compare with upper class places but then the price is extremely reasonable. So again: for what you pay you get a very good deal.
Location quite convenient as a 10 min. walk to BTS station.
We stayed here for a couple of...
We stayed here for a couple of nights on a short break to Thailand. The location isn't the greatest if you visiting the standard tourist spots as these tend to be by the river which is miles away. It is close to the big department stores and the skytrian, but wasn't ideal for us for the things we wanted to see and do. When we first arrived and drove down the tiny alley way, I was thinking where are we going? but is just off a realatively main road with food stalls during the day and night and several stores and a 7/11 about five minutes walk. The room was clean if a little dated, a reasonable size with a comfortable bed and for the price I couldn't complain. The staff were freindly and helpful with a standard breakfast included which was one less thing to have to think about. There is a nice restaurant next door called something like 'Sit in' which was brilliant and would reccomend a visit if you stay.

bathing water was warm
Wireless internet was the best part.
only dislike would be the 20min walk to Chit Lom station.
A nice friendly hotel in a lane...
A nice friendly hotel in a lane off the main road. For the price of the room, breakfast comprising fresh fruits, toast, cereals and coffee is more than one can expect.
The room size is exceptionally large and comfortable. TV channels cover from local Thai channels, BBC, NHK, French and Euro Channel to Indian and Arab channels, as well as Singapore's Channel News Asia.
Room comes with fridge, complimentary coffee and tea. Cleanliness is average.
A local eatery operates in front of the inn in the evenings, monday to friday. If you stay in one of the rooms facing the road, you may hear some of the patrons toasting or celebrating.
If you are female and alone, it is a good idea to take a taxi to the front of the inn if you are returning to the inn late at night.
For the physically active the refreshing Lumpini park is a 10-minute walk away.
On the whole, it is a relaxing inn to stay at. If you take taxis, then the location is not a problem. However, be prepared to walk quite a bit if you take public tranport.

The only drawback is the location is someway from the main routes of bangkok but apart from that its really a super place with helpful and friendly staff and nice new clean rooms and not at all noisy with many Thai food outlets outside during the day.Ive been coming to Bangkok for many years and it is one of the nicest places around if you are in Bangkok definately I will stay again

10-15min walk to Chilom BTS. The way is a little bit dark at night as the hotel locates in an alley. Some fine restaurants around. Very big room with aging decoration, but has bath tub, lift and light breakfast. Good value for budget traveler.
