Attention to Detail, Classy and Upscale
This hotel has the classy look and feel of modern sophistication. This is our second stay and we were greeted warmly. The interior design of this luxery hotel is remarkable and tasteful. It is an oasis of quiet and privacy for adults. The beautiful and minimalist lobby area was spacious and really has a nice adult feel just right for professional business travellers and mature couples. The lobby felt like a gallery and the ambient music was played throughout the lobby and spa/pool areas giving a very relaxed sophisticated feel.
There are just enough amenities for a city escape. The pool is on the smaller side for the scale of hotel and was too cold to enjoy a proper swim. However, the service staff are always so accomodating and every guest is greeted with a smile and a "Sawadee-ka", a glass of ice water, a cool towel and a refreshing facial spritzer on a tray next to a lounge chair poolside. The gym is fully equipped and very clean and modern with TV screens and headsets on the treadmill, elliptical and bicycles.
Breakfast buffet was unfortunately not a part of the Asiaroom hotel package which is highly disappointing because it is relatively expensive at around $20 Cdn per person. The breakfast buffet spread is excellent. Illy coffee in a French press is a classy touch. The choice in cuisine is good and the food is presented in a tasteful and aesthically pleasing manner to cater to almost any palate. Most importantly everything appeared clean. It makes a difference when guests are well behaved and there are no children dipping their dirty paws into the food.
The room was as tasteful as we remembered and the room was serviced twice a day! The bed was very comfortable. Nice home away from home.
