Smoky....!
First & foremost I would only recommend this hotel to men who are looking for some 'fun'. The area itself is swarming with 'streetwalkers' at night in all races & lots of street vendors, more like an arab street as well for me, & a few shisha place. In short its really not suitable for females who travels alone. The sky train is about a 3 minute walk from the hotel & Im a fast walker.
Internet is included when you book a room but the downside is, internet always gets cut off all the time & always had to call the reception to reset their router.
As soon as you go inside their narrow hotel lobby, you'll get this funky weird smell of sweat, cigar smoke, etc. Worse when you go inside their tiny lift (They could just simply use an air purifier & lots of auto air freshener!).
Rooms are ok, its spacious enough, has thin walls though so you can hear other guests in other rooms in which there are 4 rooms on every level. And still, the smell of cigar smoke is all over the room even if it was they said is considered their "non-smoking" room. And the smell of it will stick on your clothes!!! Air-conditioned, lots of mirrors, has a room safe, mini-bar fridge, 2 bottles complimentary water & are replenished everyday. T&B looks ok, has a bath tub w/ a shower head, has hot & cold water & the pressure is fine although i had a clogged sink! The toilet, well, i had to keep my hands on the flush lever until 'it' all went down or else it wont! Bed is big enough but the mattress is not so good, i felt part of the wood bed frame on my back which is very annoying when you move around.
Staff are pretty ok & friendly as Thais are always known for their smile & hospitality.
