We booked and confirmed online for a family of 5
upon arrival we were told that our room could only sleep 4 and that we would have to pay extra .
my daughter had to sleep on the couch and my wife did without breakfast 2 mornings in a row
I fail to see how in any organisation this is acceptable on any level.
i have many international business friends who found this treatment appalling !!!
I would like a response once you have investigated this.

5 star services of Ascott is really from the heart. from check in until our departure day there were all so attentive to us. I would definitely be back and will recommend this to our friends. Just a small note, i hope the breakfast menu can be improved, to add on more varieties of it.
Excellent Apartment
Excellent apartments!! Very spacious,super clean and great value for Bangkok.
The furniture and fittings are all of high quality and you have everyhting there for a good stay.
Would stay here again on future trips for sure.
Amazing Ascott Sathorn Bangkok
Fantastic rooms as we stayed in 2-bedroom apartments. Furnished with washing machine, dryer, stylish kitchen with full glassware and appliances, microwave, dining area, lounging living room and wonderful art pieces located around the rooms was fantastic. Felt like was staying at a penthouse as stayed at top floor. Staff were genuinely hospitable and the hotel was a true blue 5* yet maintaining privacy for guests. I was travelling with my family and baby and the staff were hospitable. Only problem was the swimming pool was quite cold and play room was a bit secluded. Otherwise, it was truly amazing. Great deal on asiarooms for the price at a great hotel. Highly recommended.

So glad we chose Ascott Sathorn for our three day stay in Bangkok, I was impressed on all accounts and I am usually very critical about hotels. We had a fab room with great amenities and tons of space. The apartment was kitted out with everything one would need for a comfy stay and more: washing machine, iron & ironing board, fully equipped kitchen etc . Not much surrounds the hotel, though the BTS skytrain is a quick walk away. The breakfast choice was plentiful, the gym and juice bar in the middle of it was super. There are four restaurants within the complex grounds, a spa, hairdresser and a convenience store. The staff were very helpful and obliging. No complaints at all - just praises.

It was very nice to stay in ascott hotel appartment the only thing which was abit to negative side is the location far from shopping area & restorants .. another thing for muslim ppl like us better to have a corner for muslim food in breakfast but in all i will stay again in this ascott

Pretty impressed with what we got for the price. one bedroom apartments are spacious. the staff was very helpful and understanding. only disappointments were the restaurants and the lack of room service. the poolside one has great ambience but the menu isn't the most appealing. The other while the food was nice - could work on the selection and also the ambience.

The door staff are really great and very helpful.
This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel, my only slight disappointment was that the breakfast was not as good as it was back in sept, as they have cut back some of the dishes etc.
The pool and gym are great, I did my first Gym class ever,I,m sure the instructor was trying to kill me,and with a smile
The hotel is situated in between two skytrain stations, which are about ten mins walk away.
All in all a great Hotel and I look forward to go again

My only complain is the location. Might only be a 5 minute walk to Chong Nongsi BTS but in 37C degree heat with either needing to cross the very busy Sathorn Road or go over a pedestrian bridge a complimentary tuk tuk would be a welcome addition.
