Budget accomondations or Serviced Recidense???
Paying a bit more than 1100 baht include breakfast for two, we should probably not complain. But we booked a 30sqm deluxe room, requested quite, non-smoking, high flor, and was given a 24sqm room first floor just above the coffee shop(=noisy and often smoky). We had indicated on check-in that we probably would extend our stay, still no effort to give us a different room.
We selected this hotel on 3 criteria, located in Sathorn (great, very nice neighbourhood), free wifi (= total 4 hours for5 days!) and swimming pool (=not existing, but we could use the one at I Residience Silom for free). Huge balcony though, that we were not allowed to use. We had some laundry items hanging our, but that was not allowed since "visible from the street".
Still we extended our stay twice - why??? Good value for money, huge and comfortable bed with two large bed blanket. Extremely good housekeeping, big quality towels changed daily and our bed linen were also changed surprisingly often. Breakfast buffet containing some hot dishes, toast, cereals and fresh salad and fruits was more than enough for us. A daily smile or two from the reception staff and we would have stayed the full month instead of 15 days.
We were not so happy to see that all credit card information was printed out and put visible at reception
Soi 8, a few blocks up on left side lays restaurant Somtam+, serving very nice Isaan Food
