Worn and smelly
This hotel needed a room renovation long long time ago, everything is worn down beyond a decent standard,,my room had also an extremly unpleasent smell, i guess it comes from the carpet,,there was also a door to the next room for some strange reason, and that door did so i could hear what the neighbour said,,and i guess he/she could hear me to. The balcony was also coverd in pigeon leavings,,not that fun. The hotel do have a good service but a smile now and then wouldnt hurt! The internet is also extremly ovecharget,,they take 250baht for 1 day,,i been in Thailand alot the last 10 year and this is the higest price ive seen so far for a day! The pool is nice and also the gym so thats a plus.

The hotel has a high occupancy rate made up especially of Asian tour parties who can be extremely loud.
Inclusive breakfast is generous, but targeted at Asian tastes. Fruit juice is powdered and eggs are not cooked to order.
The location of the hotel is unusual about 1 km from the main Bagna Road and a significant distance from shopping malls, Bangkok city centre and the new airport.

Convenient to Airport
Avana is an excellent bargain for travelers who need no-nonsense, clean accommodations, efficient service and convenient access (30 minutes) to Souvannaphoum Bangkok Airport.
Booking by Asia Rooms is quick and to the mark.
The only drawback is that AVANA is almost hidden from main roads.

Big and clean room for it's price....
Big and clean room for it's price. Good breakfast at a big dinning hall, so you don't have to wait to get a seat. Good traffic around the hotel but location a bit far from downtown Bangkok. Staff can speak English, but seems too eagar to get rid of me. Will still go back, the big room is really value for money.
