amazing
couldn't have asked for more. only stayed one night in transit, good value has lovely pool and good gym. basic breakfast but ok. Restaurants/food stalls/7eleven all within walking distance. very clean, friendly staff would definitely stay again :)
good for value & new airport hotel
Overall is excellent, cheap price, new hotel with full facilities. Also each room with Thai style design, perhaps the breakfast without choice, but it can make you feel full, but the sound insulation is not doing very well, it is much better to select the room far apart to the corridor or lift.
Affordable & If you need some Peace and Quiet
The hotel is 15mins drive from the Airport…not 5mins as it claims. We arrived 7:30pm on a Sunday, not that much traffic. The hotel looks deserted. The driver who picked us up at the Airport was helpful. At the reception, a lady explained to us the tariffs and she is the only person at the recption. A small lady later helped us with the bags.
Definitely a hotel where you need some peace and quiet.
A small quait little swimming pool at the back of the reception. Didn’t try it , not sure about the noise level(behind the pool are flats with dwellers)
The shops along the street out of the hotel consist of small local “restaurants” and some bars.
In the mornings, 7am, the 7-Elevens and hawkers are opened.
The bath room has a stench( we find this in some other hotels in Bangkok as well, maybe it is their sewage system or water)
Overall, good value for money and if you want a quiet place.
Real value
Given the hotel was only £30 for the nights stay, we thought it fabulous value and very convenient as we were catching up on sleep before getting a flight the next day. Only a short taxi drive away from the airport, tucked away in a quiet neighbourhood with plenty of local eateries just outside the door, large and very clean modern room plus a good size pool made it all very restful. We would stay here again.
Bangkok transit gem
The stay here was perfect for a transit in Bangkok, as soon as I had cleared immigration the courtesy bus driver was waiting for me outside arrivals and was whisked away in a clean and comfortable minibus. 10 minutes later I was greeted at reception and checked in by the staff who were genuine in their welcome.
The rooms are brand new, spacious, modern and surprisingly very quiet due to the location of the hotel. The hotel complex is secure with two guard checkpoints. A modern restaurant, ice cream shop and outside bar is in the facility. Local food restaurants and bars are just around the corner along with a 7/11, turn right and walk around the corner for a good selection of cheap local restaurants or some hawker food stalls. Beds were just right firmness with soft pillows. Ask for WiFi internet access code at check in if needed, I got it for free and I hope they keep it this way.
I was woken up at 5am with a basic cooked ham and egg breakfast delivered to my room, checked out and another 10 minute shuttle bus trip, I was dropped off at the entrance of the international terminal.
Now it is not the Ritz, nor is it in the hussle and bussle of Bangkok's CBD with gogo girls and street vendors cramming the footpath outside department stalls and nightclubs but is the perfect place for a nights sleep in transit through BKK. A better option than the overpriced hotels in the airport terminal.
