Nice environment
Nice enviroment , room is clean and staff are friendly n helpful. Near to bts and walking distnace to central world , siam paragon and mbk.

Great short stay
Location is superb, beside a (quiet) Skytrain station, with a wide range of shops, restaurants and traditional Thai massage places within 500 metres. Great Thai food in the Thai restaurant. Very friendly and helpful staff. Using the weighing scales in the luggage room before going to the airport was very handy.
Charging for internet usage was the only negative, as most hotels seem to provide this for free nowadays.

The staffs are very friendly, always with a smile to greet you. Response time is quick too. The location is ideal for shoppers. 5 min, Central World, 10 min, Siam Paragon. Highly recommended for stay in Bangkok.
This hotel's location is near perfect for...
This hotel's location is near perfect for shoppers, being next door to Central World, easy walk from Siam Paragon and directly adjacent to the BTS skytrain for getting further afield. If you have limited time, this is the most convenient place to stay I can think of.
Being close to BTS trains is essential when compared to alternatives of crawling around during rush hour in a taxi, motorbike taxi, bus or tuk tuk.
Note: My wife and I found Standard Room type just fine. This was USD 40 cheaper per night than the deluxe / superior offered as starting level by most other websites.
Our early check in, double bed and late checkout requests made on AsiaRooms online booking form were all processed at reception check-in without an eyelid batted. The hotel staff's service is really outstanding for this price bracket - even for smiley Thailand.
To relax, there are good restaurants, decent outdoor pool and a gym. Plus loads of restaurants in Central World (of which I must recommend Nara for great Thai food - Pomelo Salad, Green Curry, Tom Yum Noodles all fantastic).
If you have work to do, the main business areas of Ploen Chit and Sukhumvit are also easy via BTS (one stop only for Wireless Road). Hotel lobby is smart (but compact) and has some secluded tables for quick meetings etc which proved useful.
Tip - Make sure you drill "Chit Lom" into your head, as there is another Holiday Inn in BKK and potentially you might otherwise end up in the other one.
Finally the AsiaRooms booking method was easy to use with good follow up, so we will use again next time.
