Highly recommended for couples
Good for couples as the ambience is great. The staff is extremely friendly. Although they have miscommunicated my change of staying dates, I feel that the staff's great service made me forget the mistake. The location is super great for shopcohalics!
Hotel room clean and nice, should provide tooth brush and tooth paste in the room.
Location was great and just above Platinum Mall.
Check in counter to be improve, long waiting time for check in.
Hotel should provide massage centre for hotel resident.
Wifi free of charged to hotel resident, its great.
Hotel breakfast was expansive and should included in room rate and asia room rate.

Save on transport
Stayed for 3 night. The hotel is directly on top of patunium fashion mall. Beside central world and infront of Siam paragon. Thus stay they can save on transport. Service of the hotel is also good. Although the housekeeping left a bag of rubbish in my room on the third day. Only complaint is no bath tube in the room that I stay. Unless breakfast come together with your room. If not there are a lot of cheaper alternative around.
Convenience Hotel
I stayed for 3 nights in Bangkok, I like the interior of the hotel. I also like the bed as well as the pillows, very convenience.
The hotel staffs are very helpful to assist you whenever you asked about direction.
My wife was sick at that time and was looking for a doctor, the staff hotel helped me to call the 'Doctor on Call'.
In overall, I like staying in this hotel.

Nice Place to stay
Nice Stay, friendly staff and clean room.
This is a new hotel hence in terms of design is quite Morden and provided with all facilities (e.g. Gym, swimming pool, steam room, etc.)
It is within walking distance to Platinum Fashion Mall, Pratunam Center, Central World and Big C. Shopping is very convenient.
Food is alright, as a hotel, price is acceptable. However, please don't expect any fantastic food here.
I will be back to this hotel when I visit Bangkok again.

impersonal and cold atmoshere
No trace of famous thai hospitality and smile; very anonymous and purely functional atmosphere;still under running-up ; understaffed, and personnel still under training.
Executive treatment!
Opted for Executive room and was really pleased with the personal service received. Arriving at Bangkok tired and weary to be greeted personally was great.
Executive lounge was good - nice to be able to stop off from shopping throughout the day for a quick cup of coffee - made for you - was a bonus!
Canapes and drinks at Happy Hour was brilliant too and I took full advantage of this.
Room was very clean, spacious and provided all that was necessary. Shower was powerful with buckets of hot water.
Breakfast was ok with a very good choice and service was far better than some of the reveiws I had seen.
Pool area althoughsmaller than some hotels in area was very nice and never struggled to get a sunbed! Food at bar area was lovley - although I though drinks a little pricey - 80 baht for a bottle of water!
Never used the gym, steam room or relaxation area - but they looked ok.
Being so close to the shops was an added bonus.
All in nothing to complain about at all.

Nice hotel
It was my first time staying at Novotel Platinum Hotel and below are the pros and cons.
Pros:
- Excellent location because its just beside Platinum Mall and opposite Pratunum. Its easy to drop off the shopping bags before heading somewhere else. Many roadside stalls outside Prantip Plaza which is beside Platinum Mall and there's also a 24-hr Macs below the hotel.
- Furnishing of the hotel is modern and new.
- There's a bar and live band in the lobby for those who want to chill, not sure about prices though.
- Staff are really friendly.
Cons:
- You have to change 2 different lifts in order to get from the room to the ground floor as the hotel lobby is on the 6th floor, above the new shopping wing of Platinum Mall. Alternatively, you can take the escalator up 6 floors and shop at the same time before taking a lift up to the rooms.
- Buffet breakfast in the restaurant is crowded and the Egg queue is always very long (out of the 3 breakfasts I had there) because there is only 1 person doing the orders for the eggs.
- No bedroom slippers in the room.
- Difficult to get a cab from the lobby as the hotel is a little off the main road and many taxi drivers may not know the existence of the hotel yet. So you'll have to get the concierge to get one for u or walk to the main road yourself to get one.
Overall, the hotel will be a good choice for those who shop around that area. Plus it's still new so everything is still nice and in order in the rooms.

PERFECTION!!
For my 4th stay in Bangkok I thought I would try out the new Novotel Platinum and see for myself what it was like. PERFECTION!! Is the only way I can think to describe it. From the moment you walk through the doors from the elevator to the lobby, you are left in a state of awe. Staff are extremely friendly, food was delicious, and the rooms.... Whilst we only stayed in the standard room it was still very luxurious with sensational views of the city. I loved the bathroom with the open glass look into the main room. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone that is looking for a nice place to stay within in perfect distance to all the delights that Bangkok has to offer!!
