wonderful stay in bangkok
we booked this hotel to have a bangkok city break before moving south east to Samui... All our needs were fulfilled beyond expectations...definitively a place to stay, centrally located, beautiful swimming pool! Great concierge!
siam city hotel review waste of space
from the word go we were disappointed. 2 people in the room but only ammenities for one person. told to purchase more from 7 eleven if needed more. staff unfriendly, everything was a hassle to them. asked reception for extra toilet paper as partner was unwell and was told only house keeping could give it to me, however house keeping don't work duing the night.
internet access - you better bring a laptop because if you don't they offer one computer for the entire hotel but you can't use it if they have conference or gathering on that floor.
management need to wake up to themselves. i am paying to be here but have lots of other choices and in future will be exercising them.
i wouldn't stay there again, even if it was free and will advise others to stay elsewhere whenever i can.
Schlechtester Service in 3 Wochen Urlaub
Der Service in diesem Hotel ist definitiv nicht 5 Sterne würdig. Hier darf man sein Gepäck selbst auf das Zimmer bringen. Das Frühstück wird auch dann abgebaut wenn noch der ganze Raum voll von Gästen ist. Alles Kleinigkeiten die einen bei einem 5 Sterne Hotel doch ziemlich ärgern können.
Lifesaver
Great hotel, stayed here in between bali and Spain, they let me check in early, check out late and as I had an 11:30pm flight I was free to use the pool and facilities for the day. Customer service couldn't be faulted and I will be staying here next time I'm in Bangkok :-)
Introduction to Bangkok Accomodation
This being my first stay in Bangkok and inturn our first introduction to Bangkok accomodation I have admitt to being pleasntly surpirsed.
We spent a little more and stayed in what was called the Excutive wing, our arrival was met with pleasant smiles from the check-in counter and was promptly ushered to the executive check-in desk in the the excutive wing. Buffet breakfast was included in the rate as were complimentary drinks every evening.
Not only did the staff excel themselves with their professional service they went the extra mile for us when we asked them to help sort out some "Misplaced" travel tickets we purchased through a local tourist agency, in which they were more than happy to help with.
I would not hesitate in recomending this hotel to anyone staying in Bangkok for the service was great, central to pretty much all sightseeing locations and just across the road from the Skyrail system.
Best for shopper / business
I have stayed this hotel for 4 nites and found it's good for all occasion.
It's idea for shopper as this hotel location is not as congested as at Pratunam Mall area.
For business it's good as it's loacted at central of BKK. ( taxi , bts is not a issue )
The only thing that I m not satisfy is the wifi service is chargeble.. However you can access free wifi at lobby.
Breakfast is serving same dishes every day ...
Hotel room yes.. renovated and clean great.
I have requested DVD player to install in my room and it's free from housekeeping.. great
Security is 100% save.. great.

With the exception of a relatively hard bed in my room and the shower area being slightly too narrow for me, it was a fantastic first-time stay in this hotel which we thoroughly enjoyed and will definitely want to return to. We didn't try the breakfast (900 bht) and the pool but appreciated the use of the pool's shower to freshen up before our evening flight. Hotel staff were professional and the proximity to town was a big plus.
Ideal city hotel
Stopped off in Bangkok for 1 night and this hotel was perfect. I checked out at midday and wasn't flying until the evening. I was able to leave my bags and hang out at the pool all day, have a sauna and a pre flight shower. Would recommend and stay again if I'm in the same situation in the future.
Nice hotel
We stayed at the stylish Siam City Hotel for two days during our stay in Bangkok. The hotel has got a very nice classic and big lobby, the staff were very attentive at most of the times, and the restaurant in the ground floor served some very good food.
Once we got there we upgraded to Club Siam which gave us access to the Executive Lounge and breakfast in there which was very very nice, even though we missed breakfast hours on the second day we still went up and had coffee and tea and loads of snacks.
The room was nice and comfortable, the view and the bathroom were OK. The pool was nice if in the shadow at some times - I was very satisfied that having a problem with the WI-FI they sent someone to the pool to fix it up for me.
The only very very minor point was that I had a bit of a problem with the WI-FI since the signal was very low inside the room but OK once I stepped in the lobby, for this reason I asked reception for a bigger internet cable since the one in the room didn't reach the bed but they didn't have one.
Value for money is OK, it was probably our most expensive stay in Bangkok having stayed in a few 5-star hotels but we don't regret it.

a must stay in bangkok
if you want luxury with great servie and central trendy bangkok you get it here. immaculate staff friendly professional service a serene 6th floor outdoor roof top pool for relaxation and a mega breakfast for all nationalities. rooms are huge and so comfortable
