A great location less than two hours...
A great location less than two hours from Bangkok. This is a great small hotel if you want to relax by the pool - not so great if you are expecting nightlife or a "buzz". The only slight downside is that the beach is rather murky - further south the sand is far whiter.
The rooms are fantastic and very good value.
I would definitely go again for a short break.
We were pretty much the only people...
We were pretty much the only people in the whole resort at the time, weather was great and pool is fantastic always warm , setting is great and room fantastic especially open outside shower. Only thing beach is not that great but hey when you have a great pool area not really an issue. It is away from any main town assuch but there are still small shops and restaurants about a 10 minute walk away - this is the real thailand not full of too many tourists and lots of locals.

Had a wonderful stay. This is second visit to hotel and just as good as first time. Very relaxing - don't expect late nights - Spa excellent too and very good value. Hope to return again.

I stayed with my two sons for 3 nights in February. The bungalow was a fantastic size with the most amazingly huge bed I have ever seen!!! The resort was very well kept, very green and clean. The pool was beautiful and the water kept nice and warm by the black tiling. On occasions it was difficult to find clean towels around the pool area but otherwise was kept very clean. We ate all our evening meals in the Beluga retaurant, good service, good selection and delicious meals. The breakfasts were good but I would have expected more of a selection from a hotel in this price range. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend Fishermans Village to our friends. It is important to add though that the resort is overpriced for its position and the poor quality of the beach.

We had a great time, really relaxed enjoyed the spa only negative was that it was a distance away from the major activities, that can be looked at postively or negatively depending on what you are looking for in a vacation.

I got the very good impression for Fishman's Village Resort. Friendly staffs, priority service and very comfortable room. It is a prefect resort for relax and enjoy the natural environmemt.
My boyfriend and I stayed in this...
My boyfriend and I stayed in this hotel in May. Unfortunately we could only stay one night. The room is quite big and clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and we were really pleased to be there. One problem though, mosquitoes; you have to tell the staff to spray mosquito spray in the rooms. The restaurant is too small and it’s look very busy in the morning especially in the weekend.
Interested in “nightlife”? Forget it! there is no nightlife in this area but if you are looking for a nice and quiet place to stay with your family, we do recommend this hotel extremely.
