A lovely hotel
We enjoyed our stay very much - a large room with a king bed, a beautiful garden and gracious service. The food was very nice and the pool beautifully kept. Very close to the night market and main street, but tucked into quiet area. The rooms were also very well sound proofed from any internal noise and there was wifi in the room. The only very slightest drawback, for people who care about these things, was that the bathroom tiles were a little tired.

staff were great but let down by a shabby room , poor decor etc, noisy corridors. Too many guests unfamiliar with etiquette of life in a hotel. pool good and very clean byut overally we should have stayed at the other hotel we know in Chiang mai
better for a business trip than relaxing holiday
We requested a non smoking room unfortunately we got a smoking room and it still smelt of smoke, on the plus side it is really close to the night markets only 4 min walk. Awesome swimming pools but no swim up bar. highly recommended if your on a business trip or you don't want the hassel of drunk 18-30 year olds.

Wow!
I stayed here 6 years ago, and recall a slightly shabby property overrun by tour groups. I'm not sure what happened between then and now, but that is certainly no longer the case. This hotel is quietly elegant, with professional staff and gracefully competent service--hard to believe at this property's prices! The gardens are extensive, 2 pools allowed us to follow the sun throughout the day, and the breakfast buffet (included) was extensive and the food well-prepared. We were upgraded from a superior to deluxe room, and it was very nice. Room service prices were extremely reasonable, so we dined in the room often, usually after long days touring the surrounding area. Location is great, especially if you like the night market and old city. Outstanding value.
Fantastic hotel with good value! I came here to memorize Teresa Teng, who is the most famous asian singer and passed by in this hotel in 1995. Sad!!!
Everything every penny worth
I can say that this 17 days at the Imperial Mae Ping were every penny right invested. The really only thing I can not to 100% suggest is the Fitness Center. The Equipment was not in a very good shape. Sometimes I think it would be better not to make advertisment for a Fitness Center or better just leave it. The second one, if someone really likes it quit in the night then he should have a room on the side of the Swimming Pool. On my side there was a club with loud music until 02.00 am. But for me it was not a problem.
Comfortable clean room
Overall we enjoyed our stay at Mae Ping, Great location and only negative was that reception wasn't as friendly and approachable as they could have been
Why do I always think that when you reserve a room on internet, you always get the room wihtout a view???? Toilet tiles dirty, how about making some renovation?Location excellent and swimming pool very nice. Good and friendly services.

Angenehmes Hotel mit tollem Pool. Ausstattung okay. Frühstück sehr gut. Auch sonst nichts zu beklagen. Allerdings recht weit von der Altstadt entfernt. Dafuer nahe am Nachtmarkt.
