This is a nice, clean, but a little bit "seventies" hotel, with a good staff and comfortable rooms. It is nice that it is not in the middle of Chiang Mai.
The staff are great -- friendly and helpful and they speak great English. The pool is pretty nice and the 400 baht massages (in your room) are fantastic, much better than any high end spa offerings.
Stayed at the Rincome last year during an anniversary visit to Thailand for the other half. The staff were polite, helpful and unasuming. Could not work out how to get in to the fridge but otherwise OK. Liked the bird cage outside the balcony. Wonderful swimming pool with a long a cool drink. Going back again next year but this time have to take the kids.
