I would strongly recommend those travellers to stay in this hotel as the room size is big and the atmoshpere is cozy. The price for the hotel is very reasonable for those budget travellers.
Although the hotel is slightly out from the city but it took about 10 mins ride on the tuk tuk to reach the night bazaar. the cost for the ride is only 20 baht/person.
The hotel is very convenient as beside the hotel is a big shopping mall name Central. The only things to take note is they only open the shops @10am.

this is our 3rd times to stay in LPS, my children like this hotel very much (and I agree with them). The hotel staffs are very helpful and friendly, no problem with language they all can speak basic english even the doormen. breakfast is quite nice, more variety than some other hotels but you can smell food all over your body after 20 minutes breakfast. business centre very helpful but pricey, this hotel got all necessary facilities we want. great location, hotel connected to famous department store, you can find food, cloth,cinemas,phamacy,hair dressing salon,photo shop and supermarket in one roof. cheaper internet cafe across the road from department store also laudry/dry clean. if you want to go to night bazarr, hotel's buses run frequently through out the night 30bath/person. airport drop off service also free! pick up can be arrange with small cost. the best thing about this hotel is the rooms, which is make you feel like home. rooms got the generous space and great mountain view and the rooms don't have old stinky carpet smell. If we come back to Chiang Mai again LPS is the only hotel we would stay!

We enjoyed out stay here. It was great the the shopping center was just next door. We could get food and shop for necessities and not have to go far. Will definitely stay here again.

This is my second time to spend Lotus Pang Suankaew Hotel Chiang Mai.
I like this hotel best in Chiang Mai for me.

I have stayed at this hotel many times in the last 5 years. I apprecicated that the entrance to the room and to the bathroom area is retiled. I still am a little concerned why the walls in the shower continue not to be that clean. It would take just a little elbow grease and the clorax to fix that problem. Also I think even though the breakfast is included their selection needs to be upgraded. I it becoming tired and dated. I could not even get the cook to make me an omelette. The roll was getting harder too. This time there was a few conventions there and that made for some crowded conditions in the lobby. I would also like to see more plants in the bare spaces in the lobby. It would brighten up the place, It looks more like a warehouse and not a hotel lobby. I prefer the more expense side of this hotel but military convention of thai, american, japan and Indonia took up all those rooms. I love the convience of the hotel and that is the primary reason i stay there. I like the mall and the location. I did find a bug in the room, but in asia that is not that uncommon.

A wonderfull hotel, much better that I thouth.That was why I came back again to the same hotel after my first week.
I will come back to Thailand and I will 100% stay at Lotus hotel, the staff was very friendly and gave a very good service to everybody, I have been many places all over the word,but your hotel is the best I ever been on, when I am thinking about, service, cleaning.

The hotel's location is good, the breakfast is ok. The room is good, should have bathtube at every bathroom. The cleaniness wasn't good, but ok.

The room was musty and dusty,
carpet to coridoors very dirty and ripped, could be dangerous.
Breakfast poor with most items cold, including eggs which were either warm and uncooked or cold and hard.

I was in the older wing of hotel carpets and furniture little worn but still clean, great service,awesome morning breakfast,excellent cty location.
My only advise for travellers and the next time I visit I will pay a little extra and stay in the new wing its is beautiful!
