We loved the location in that it...
We loved the location in that it was a 5 minute tuk-tuk ride from the night market. The room size was adequate as well as the bathroom. It was very, very clean. The only disappointments we experienced were with a stained bedspread, which was changed for us, poor lighting in the room at night, and the people at the front desk were not very friendly. They never seemed to look up or meet you eye to eye as you walked through the lobby. Their general attitude was that they could not be bothered. This was a drastic change in hospitality from our 8 night stay at the Majestic Grande in Bangkok. The least desireable aspect of the Park is the breakfast buffet. We found the food to be over cooked, if not stale at times. Of all the services, the food was the most disappointing. On a scale of 1 to 5, over a 5 night stay, I would rate the food about a 2. This hotel seems to cater to tour groups. We noticed on the days that the tour buses brought in hords of people the food was at least hot and fresh.
