This hotel was perfect for our needs. The location is excellent for the night bizarre, clean, excellent service, with absolutely wonderful breakfasts. It isn't fancy, but we weren't in the room that much anyway, except to sleep.

great hotel, excellent location, most friendly and helpful staff. only asiarooms can get you this kind of deal as there was a flora exhibition. i tried octopus, but no luck. asiaroom seek out several places for us - never giving up. i will recommend all my friends to use asia rooms. needless to say, we had a great holiday.

I filled in a guest card at the hotel in which I complimented the hotel on the quality of their service, cleanliness and staff.
This hotel does lots of little things which in total makes a person's stay most enjoyable. The fruit basket replenished daily, the courtesy of everyone from the doorman, the breakfast staff, and the front desk, as well as the maids and the bed being offered to be turned down each night, with an orchid included.
This was our third stay at the hotel and since our last visit in 1999, the hotel has improved to a higher standard than even before. The hotel management and staff deserve to be congratulated.
The location of the hotel is also excellent, right next to the night markets.

The hotel is ok and for no frills its at a good location. Note that Chiangmai sites are only accessable on taxis or tuktuks and they charge a fortune as there is no meter fare. Loads of unnecessary haggling with them and they cost so much more than Bangkok. Taxis charge Bht 200 for a short trip while tuktuks charges from bht 50 -100 for what u get in bangkok for 30bht max..!!!! The hotel breakfast is fare and not much to whow about and the rooms are a little old fashion but for the budget traveller its ok.

The location of the hotel is excellent with the night bazaar right downstairs. Although the exterior of the hotel looks less than promising, the interior is refreshingly new and tastefully decoroted with dark wood & dim lightings.The guest mix is also good with well mannered tourists from all over the world.
A very pleasant stay at Royal Princess...
A very pleasant stay at Royal Princess during the Loy Kratong Festival. Situated right in the middle of the big Night Bazaar and stalls are right right outside the hotel. Royal Princess Hotel surprised us with a FREE Kratong on the dresser so that we can join in the festival. Complimentary bottle of water was left in the room for us after we came back from town. I was indeed very touched with their thoughtful gesture. Breakfast served was splendid, good ambience, good atmosphere, good service and great value for money.
What a shock when we arrived at...
What a shock when we arrived at the hotel as part of our honeymoon. For starters it smelt musty and they could not find our booling for a delux room and so put us in a pokey STD room. We were moved to a better room, but both had cracked sinks in the bathrooms. They have renovated but just on the cosmetic side. I will never stay at any of this groups hotels again. It was a really average hotel for what they charge. The location is good.
