Star Hotel is a value-for-money hotel. It is convenient, located near the Night Market. The service is excellent with the friendly staff. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. For those having 3 adults in a room, request for their suite - a double bed and a sofa bed. The sofa bed is comfortable and the room is spacious.
The entire stay was pleasant and the hotel staff were very friendly & courteous. For the rate that we paid & with breakfast included, it was indeed value for money. Day market & night bazaar are just walking distance away. Tuk Tuk are available at every corner of the road. Day trips can be arranged easily from the hotel but if u want to get a better deal, u can always try the agencies outside. And don't forget to go for the Thai traditional massage .. you should not miss it. Overall a very pleasant and relaxing stay indeed.
This hotel was a disappointment. The walls, and carpet are very dirty. The toilet in the bathroom leaked. The rooms were musty and damp and smelled bad. It was the low point in accomodations during a 3 week, 4 country trip through Asia.
It was a great stay at Star hotel. We stayed in the deluxe room. Room is clean, big and spacious. My 2 years old son really enjoy his stay in the hotel. Hotel is really close to night bazaar and is convenienr. The staff are friendly and helpful.
However, the standard room that my sister and her son stayed is a little dark and the carpet are old and look dirty. Well, it is not too bad overall and is really value for money.

Very good location. Albeit there is 5 minute walk to Night bazaar and 15 walk to old town area (lots of night activities)
The room is clean, breakfast is ok. And the Stuff is very helpful.
At this price range..this is the best value.
