Very nice and clean place in the...
Very nice and clean place in the middly of down-town Chiang Mai. Be aware that if you arrrive on a Saturday the street to the hotel is closed off because of the Saturday night market and you have to walk to the hotel with all your luggage.

We had a very nice time with...
We had a very nice time with Tarmarind Village. This time, we also stayed Four Seasons, and we could not stay more nights in Tarmarind Village. We are very sorry that, because Tarmarind Village is located in center of city. Four Seasons is very beautiful but so far from the shopping area. We booked delux twin room, but our room looked like standard one. I would like know the difference. Our room is in the first floor and, very small. We asked to change to a bigger room in 2nd floor. But,they said, No,this is a last room. Anyway TV is a good wirth to stay in chaing Mai.

The hotel has a temple-like feel with...
The hotel has a temple-like feel with open courtyards. Each night oil lamps were setup around the pool and traditional-Thai music was played. Each morning we heard the birds singing. The hotel has a wonderful relaxing atmosphere. The hotel staff were very helpful and took great care in making sure our experience was excellent. The location is also perfect if you are looking to take walking tours around the old city. The night market is a moderate walk or a short tuk-tuk ride away. Tamarind Village is right smack in the middle of the Sunday night walking street market. Having stayed at a few hotels in the area, I am confident this is one of the best if not the best hotel in the city.

A really lovely hotel with a great location. It is a very peaceful and realxing place to stay and I would very much recommend it. Good value for money too.

We really enjoyed our stay at the...
We really enjoyed our stay at the Tamarind Village Hotel. It's a beautiful little hotel that has a lot of charm. The rooms are nicely decorated and you feel very well inside. Moreover we were very happy that our room and bathroom were perfectly clean. The breakfast is one of the best we had in Thailand. And the swimming pool is nice and big enough to swim.

One of the most charming hotel in Thailand ! Un des plus charmants hotels de Thailande ! (commentaires en francais ci apres) Very well located in the old town and near many temples all around. Very quiet place. Rooms lovely decorated with thai style and bathroom too. Excelent breakfeast near the swimmimg pool in the morning. So peaceful under the big tree and the service is so kind and so helpful. Great place to stay. TOTALLY RECOMMENDED especially for couples and romantics or seniors. Tres bien situe dans la vielle ville avec de nombreux temples tout autour. Les chambres sont decorees selon le style thai sans oublier le confort occidental et la corbeile de fruits frais. Le petit dejeuner autour de la piscine est un pur moment de bonheur au petit matin avant les excursions. Le service est a vos petits soins et toujours souriant ou pret a vous aider. Endroit tres calme notamment le soir apres 20h. Tout ca autour d un enorme tamarin. A RECOMMANDER ABSOLUMENT et en particulier aux couples amoureux ou aux gens desireux de disposer de calme (retraites) pour se reposer en toute quietude apres les visites de la journee.

Excellent facilities, beatifully decorated, lovely at night when light up with candles. Staff couldnt have done more. A great stay in the heart of the city.
