What they show you on the website is not what you get. room was big, but very shabby, old carpet covered in who knows what kind of stains and a plastic bag wrapped around the shower that only partially fixed the massive leak. definitely not worth the 800 Thai Baht, there are much better places in Chiang Mai for less. give it a miss.
Small swimmingpool, old rooms not perfectly clean but good for the price.
Awful food
The breakfast that comes included in the room is awful. There cable tv only has two or three English channels and they were news. The mini bar was not stocked. There was only wi fi in the lobby. The hotel is very old and does not look like the pictures. The location was good, an easy walk to down town chiang Mai.

If You want to see a lot of beautifull temples inside of "old town" square this will be a perfect place for you, because everything is on walking range. Hotel is cheap and good enogh.
If You want to see Chang Mai area (elephants, tribal villages, etc.) I can recomend very honest, cheap and nice taxi driver with new sedan car with AC - Mr. Sompong Sikeawpan, mobile: 08-0792-5167. This guy can take care of everything - planning, trip, food, etc.

Quite hotel
The hotel is used by Thai people for bankets so they have good food makers. Live music during dinner, a very small swimming pool good for a quite swim, not for sportmen or children to play. Chairs to lay down in the sun. Rooms are old but still ok. Bathroom is also old.

Stayed one night to catch an early flight out. Was fine for arrival at 8pm and leave at 6am, and it was good value for an overnight stay

Fantastic hotel that really met our needs....
Fantastic hotel that really met our needs. Lots to see within walking distance and a great coffee shop across the road but the hotel offers it all. The staff were happy and obliging, making our stay very pleasant and one to remember.
