This is the second time we have stayed with you and found both time to be very happy, clean and the starf more than friendly.

I stayed at the Chiang Mai Plaza Hotel in a Deluxe Size Room. I found the Hotel to be inexpensive. The Hotel, Hotel Foyer, decorations are all fantastic and display aspects of the Thai culture. The room was large, new and very clean. Staff were helpful. I found the Hotel location was fantastic. Highly recommended!

Me and my wife where at the hotel for 3 nights and then after a week we return to the hotel. They remember us and took care for us like old friends. They tried to give us the same room we had, and remember our requests. the breakfast is very good and the are are a lot of choises. the location is great. very close to the the Night Bazar, But not in it. When I will visit at ChiangMay again I will be at the same hotel for sure.

we stayed in the Chiang Mai Plaza for four nights. The hotel is located two minutes walk from the night bizzare. The bedrooms are quite old, they smell a bit musty! but are clean and spacious. The breakfast is also very good however the room service ordered food is not and we could not eat it. The hotel is great value for money and the staff are freindly and helpful. Overall we enjoyed our stay here.

My wife and I stayed in this hotel from 22/8/06 to 26/8/06. For the price we paid, we are completely satisfied with what we received. The room was clean and spacious,so was the bathroom. The staff were fiendly and courteous. The location was very good, situated near one end of the night market. The so-called "best Chinese Restaurant in Town" is just diagonally across the road. It served very good Chinese food at very reasonable prices. The up-market Spa in the hotel was rather pricey, but there is no shortage of such facilities in the rest of Chiangmai.

Hotel is in good location near the Night Bazaar. Facilities are quite old and smelled not very good. But our problem there is that they tried to charge us 1400 baht (about 28 euros) for making the bedsheets dirty with Tiger Balm!!! I had pain in the neck and used it over night, not knowing that it made the bed dirty. I got a note asking not to use it again and so I did. But next day I got another message saying that they were charging 1400 baht for cleaning the bedsheets!! I told them that I was not going to pay for that because it had not been intentionally and it was included in the service I paid for the hotel. But they insisted and it was not until our tour guide talked to the director of the hotel that they cancelled this charge. It was the first time in a hotel (and I have been in hundreds of them) that this has happened to me. I heard of another people having the same problem with towels, or being accused of taking laundry bags home with them, when they had not. They were asked for money for it. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

From walking into the lovely lobby, you could feel that this hotel exuded class! It had a serene atmosphere and the location, near the night markets and close to good local restaurants was excellent! The tour desk at the hotel was particularly helpful and open for extended hours. Meals in the hotel's restaurant were very good and child friendly. I would definitely stay at the Chiang Mai Plaza again.

This is the 2nd time I stay in this hotel.
But this time,our requests are not met at all.
We asked for double bed, non smoking room, but they say all booked.
I think it just their way of saying, that everything have been prepared so cannot change.
I've booked 2 month in advance!
This is not "customer service"
What happen to "the land of thousand smile"?
