It is a very, very nice place,...
It is a very, very nice place, but you really need to know, that there is a school. Every morning at 7am the kids start with singing lessons. Which would be no problem, if they would not use microphones. So if you want to sleep a bit longer in your holiday...

This is a lovely place to stay...
This is a lovely place to stay if you don't mind using the very cheap Tuk-Tuks to get around. We stayed 3 nights and had a lovely time, mainly due to the helpful staff who were happy to arrange days out for us. On our last day the school behind us re-openned and we were woken by "We are the Champions" by Queen, which was very surreal, but it is part of the dailing life and that's part of the point of visiting! The room was beautiful and it was the biggest bath I have ever been in!

A great place to stay. It's quiet, charming, has great service and friendly staff - what more could you ask for. I would definately stay here again.

The place is fantastic. The moment i arrived, i loved the entrance, the landscape and the ambience. It was such a nice surreal feeling when i got there. However, the room was a little too dark so it tends to breed mosquitoes. Bathroom was dark too. But the main problem for me was the water pressure in the shower area. The pressure wasn't strong enough for the shower so it just trickled. i ended up using the little bucket to have a bath whilst squatting near the bathroom tap. Despite the bathroom problem, i do like the place a lot. Has so much character and i love the helpful staff there. Hope u can do s'thing about the bathroom coz i will definitely come back to stay. -jm-

Staying in this hotel was very nice...
Staying in this hotel was very nice experience for my family. Staff was great, always willing to help, and we could borrow bikes from hotel, so it was easy to go around, or even better, you can rent a motorbike. Rooms in the hotel are nice and clean, only the light was too gloomy. The breakfast is not like in some bigger hotels, but it was fine. Our child was enjoying in a small swimming-pool, and we enjoyed in the ambient.

Room is lovely...very colonial and clean but...
Room is lovely...very colonial and clean but rather dark. Breakfast is nothing to shout about though. However for this price, it's really worth staying. Would definitely recommend it!

The hotel is small and very romantic....
The hotel is small and very romantic. A perfect hotel if you want something different. It is not in the best location if you want to walk everywhere but the staff were always on hand to call you a Tuk Tuk to take you anywhere you wanted to go.

Check in was fast and easy. The staff was always very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was limited but good the restaurant is only open for breakfast but there is a place a few doors away that serves good inexpensive soups. The hotel is not near any tourist areas but we chose it for this reason. Quiet and relaxing. The room was spotless. The staff actually seem to enjoy having our 15 month old son around trying to get him to smile and talk. Only wish they had CNN on the TV but they do have a computer with free internet access for the guests. We will stay there again on future visits.

Tri Yaan Na Ros was an absolute...
Tri Yaan Na Ros was an absolute oasis. My husband and I stayed there in August 2005 and fell in love. The owner and his mother who helped run the place were completely charming and helpful. The room was amazing, comfortable and well furnished. It was better than anything else I had seen in the city and I have seen a lot! There were only a couple of things- 1. the bathtub was about 2.5 feet deep and we were looking forward to having a nice long bath in it, but the water pressure was so low that it would have literally taken hours to fill up. Also, the water didn't get very hot. 2. The room was really dim and needed better lighting. I would have liked if there were more restaurants close by so eating out would have been easier, or if they would serve meals besides breakfast, but that was a small detail. Everything else they did (free cigars, jasmine, tea, gift shop, library, atmosphere) was worth it all.
