"We booked this hotel as we were..."
We booked this hotel as we were looking for something central for a couple of days before we went trekking. The location is great as it´s on one of the routes into the centre of
town (going down towards the night bazaar) and it had a number of bars (although we didn´t hear any noise from them at night). The hotel staff picked us up from the airport and also took us back there when we were leaving, free of charge. The rooms were nice, of a good size and the bathroom was clean. There was quite a wide selection of european and asian food for breakfast. Originally we were staying only two nights before going trekking but when we decided to only to the two day one night trek we reserved another night at this hotel. We had booked two rooms for the extra night but when we returned we were told that there were no rooms of that type available and that we had been upgraded to the royal 2 bed suite on the top floor, which was quite nice. All in all a nice hotel which we would recommend and would probablt stay in again.

"We travelled as a family of 5...."
We travelled as a family of 5. The hotel was very accomodating and had interconnecting rooms which was fantastic for our family. The location of this hotel is great. It's walking distance to the Night
Bizarre Markets and to the Sunday walking street market. The facilities were basic but all that was needed as not much time was spent in the rooms. We stayed in a Superior room which was rather large. Always cleaned beautifully. The overall service here was fantastic. The breakfast was okay if your not expecting a 5 star spread. It got our family through the day. The travel service was great, we booked a van for private transport to Sukhothai which saved hours in travel time for our family. Overall, we would definately stay here.

"We stayed in Thailand for 19 days..."
We stayed in Thailand for 19 days and I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone. First the room were nice and clean. But what impressed me the most was the service. They arreanged
four tours for us and it cost us less than half the price shown on the Internet for the same tours. And the tours were great. If I came back to Chiang Mai, I would positively stay at this hotel. I have already told friends who are going there soon to stay there.

"The staff and the Raming Lodge are..."
The staff and the Raming Lodge are second to none. They are just wonderful. They are courteous, friendly, and most of all, professional. They were more than willing to fit in with our schedule, rather
than us fit into theirs. The rooms are spacious, with a large bathroom. The pool is at the back of the building, therefore keeping the noise away from the rooms (excellent). The breakfast has enough to choose from to stop you from going hungry. We were fortunate to stay in both a deluxe and superior room on different occasions and the little extras that you get in the Deluxe room, it is worth paying a little more. The location of the hotel is well positioned for the Sunday and night markets, many restaurants in easy walking distance to dine and bars for a few drinks. This hotel would be my only choice when visiting Chiang Mai (just hope they have a vacancy)

"Overall the service of the hotel personnel..."
Overall the service of the hotel personnel was superb although the water pressure of the bathroom was very low. The hotel personnel was very accommodating when there is a request especially on the travel agent desk which provided all necessary assistance.
