Excellent hotel with excellent staff
I really enjoyed the Raming Lodge. Room was spacious and the shower facilties very good. Staff were friendly and courteous and teh rsetaurant at night was very nice. The hotel is also very good at arranging day trips and staff were att all times courteous and helpful. The hotel is also close (a one minute walk) to Chiang Mai nightlife and my partner and I enjoyed chattng over a few drinks with various people in the bars. Overall I would recommend this hotel to all travellers and consider it excellent value for money.

airport transfer
i had a really early flight and was told by the reception that they couldnt provide transport at the time i needed, after a lot of messing about they eventually got us transport, this was probably just a one off.

Night break
We were disturb in the night thinking of a break in Chiang Mai with terrifying noise in the room...a terrible noise which lasted about 30-45mn...in fact it was the paving breaking all the 2 long sides of the room. ok we change room the day after...but we were very very choked Guests do a lot of noise to, there is no respect in this hotel...may be a backpaker but for the price we paid, we would like to have something more silencious more zen We don't come there the next time

Good value for money
Well presented clean accommodation . Located in a good position to the night market and Sunday market and plenty of tour options available from the hotel reception. Nice pool located a short 30 metre walk from the hotel. Hotel warns you about a problem with getting hot shower water and that you may need to run the water for at least 15 minutes before it gets warm. We were on the 5th floor and never really had a warm shower even after running it for ages, our friends located on the 4th floor didn't have this problem. The sign in the room was dated 2009, fair to say their hot water issue should have been fixed by now........

Good
The location of the hotel is very good (close to the night market an the other daily markets). The staff is well adjucated and friednly. The rooms are clean.
The hotel have a big disadvatance: the pool is to small and at the time of our visit dirty. The water was brown and the staff wanted to clean it with cemicals. But I'm sure, it did't worked.

excellent location
Had a fine stay. Room was spacious, huge bed, nice shower. Very good location. Hotel offered many discounts for their own services, e.g. restaurant, spa, etc. I have been in Chiang Mai several times before though, and I thought price was a bit inflated considering the many options in the area. However I would consider staying again.

We stayed in Thailand for 19 days...
We stayed in Thailand for 19 days and I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone. First the room were nice and clean. But what impressed me the most was the service. They arreanged four tours for us and it cost us less than half the price shown on the Internet for the same tours. And the tours were great. If I came back to Chiang Mai, I would positively stay at this hotel. I have already told friends who are going there soon to stay there.
