We stayed at this hotel for 1 night after arriving to Chiang Mai airport late at night. We took a taxi from outside the airport for 180Baht .. at first the taxi didn’t know where the hotel was situated as it’s fairly new but after a few calls we were on our way. Check-in was smooth and room was lovely, just as shown in pictures we had seen. Impeccably clean, had all the facilities in the room, just a shame it was only a 1 night stay!. Breakfast was OK, nothing special but the staff were very attentive and they offer a free transfer out of the hotel to the airport or onto your next hotel within Chiang Mai. The spa wasn’t open yet but will be soon.

Maybe I was lucky, my room and stay was quiet and peaceful unlike the previous comment. The only time it was noisy was the other guests' kid wearing 'kid squeaking shoes' and let them run loose during breakfast.
My biggest complaint will be the transport - it is 500m walk to the main road to catch transport (not much taxi around, only those red mini buses that will be hard for foreigners to travel on unless u know some basics about travelling on these buses). When we asked the staff to help book a metered taxi, we were slapped on with 200 baht service fee without being informed about it first. We were not the only ones, I overheard another guest questioning why the transport booked thru the hotel is so much more expensive than just calling for one by oneself.
Other than that, this is a small development and I really enjoyed the quiet surrounding and nice music at nite, we sipped drinks and sat at the terrace to enjoy the peacefulness.
Food was alright for such a small development. Breakfast selection was also okay considering the small development.
It is only about 10 min from the airport, the hotel provides free transfer to and from but this was never mentioned in Asiaroom confirmation email. We called at the airport and the hotel picked usup within 15 min.
Will I stay there again? Yeah, but I will research on the transport first before I go.

The Hamlet looks nice -that´s the best to say about it. Room very small, bathrooms big but not well designed (using the shower means flooding the toilet and/or the placeforthe suitcase). Staff badly trained: welcome sweet was badly packed and placed directly next to the bed: to get rid of the ants we had to spray the bed with insecticides. Breakfast below standard expected at this price. Many other details bad. Overall the price was not justified.

Unfortunately the hotel is very noisy, with too much noise from the surrounding area and in the hotel itself. The walls/doors are poorely insulated. I had trouble relexing and overall the feeling was too cramped.

THe hotel is cosy and comfortable and good for a getaway which is not far from town. The location is very inconvenient for the tourists who do not drive. It is difficult to get a taxi from the hotel and they are slow to respond to calls from the hotel - waiting time is at least 30 minutes.
It would help if the hotel is able to run a shuttle, at least one way to the two shopping places close by -Airport Plaza and Central and to downtown Kad Suan Keaw or more stops. The free transport to the Night Bazaar is very useful.
The hotel staff is helpful and try their best. They even try to provide transportation without charge when other hotel guests book their services and there is space in the hotel van.
The hotel should be prepared not to require guests to pay for breakages that is obviously accidental and not deliberate especially when the hotel rate per day is more than 4.000 bahts. My 73 and 74 year old friends (who stayed 3 nights) who occupied the room next to ours broke one of the four toiletries containers and they had to pay for the whole set of four. A less than complete set is not useful to the guests (who could take away the set since they were paid for), but can certainly still be used by the hotel. All they require is some replacement pieces.
