Mae Ping is a fantastic place to...

Mae Ping is a fantastic place to stay in. Generously sized bungalows, great pool,private outdoor sitting areas,friendly staff (not English speaking but the owner is always just a translating phone call away). It's a 20 minute drive out of town so you need a location map in Thai for Taxis, simply email the owner before you go there. DEFINITELY have lunch or dinner at Mae Ping! They'll provide you with a most sumpteous meal at a reasonable price.We were spoilt rotten. Mind you, we were the only guests at the time. Still, we have been provided with a full breakfast buffet. I would go there anytime again, I felt like being transported to a small piece of paradise. It was a truly fantastic experience, so different to your average hotel stay.
