My husband and I stayed there just for one night before leaving Chiang Mai for Bangkok after staying at another hotel by the old city for 3 nights. it proved to be a good choice and good value for money. It is really a haven away from the hustle and bustle of the city. It is an ideal place if you want to be in retreat, enjoy the quiet and get refreshed and relaxed. It is 20 minutes away from the old city and just 10 minutes from the airport.
The service was excellent. The staff allowed us to check out late at 3p.m. instead of 12.00 noon when they knew that our flight's departure time was around 7p.m. the next day. This enabled us to sunbathe by the pool for the whole morning and then enjoy a Thai massage before checking out. The free transfer to the airport was also well arranged for us.
The hotel itself consists of 3 separate buildings: a complex with 8 suites/rooms, another one with the spa and 3 suites and a club house. The suite that we had was the best room we had ever had. It was so spacious, cozy and stylishly decorated. There was even a jacuzzi in the bathroom. Breakfast was also good. We had 2 other meals at the restaurant of the club house. The atmosphere, service and food were excellent. Also, it was inexpensive. It was not more expensive than the restaurants that we had tried at the old city and the night bazaar. During dinner, we had a chance to chat with the German owner, who was so nice.
There is nothing to criticise. WE highly recommend it.
